I have no complaints room and hotel was clean, only thing I would like breakfast to be extended a little longer

Pros: Friendly staff, good coffee in the morning.
Cons: If you are going to offer one-night deals to fill up your rooms, be ready for them. It was clear this hotel is not used to short-term guests.
I booked this hotel at the last minute because my other hotel had lost my reservation, and every single other hotel in the area was booked. I expected a no-frills but clean hotel. The first room I received had a bed that had been made, but the sheets were dirty. There was a piece of dog food on the floor. The front desk person apologized profusely (he was very nice) and gave me a new room. It was fine, but it was missing an ironing board, and the iron was broken. It was worn but generally clean. On the plus side, the coffee was good in the morning, and the staff was very friendly. I think I made a last-minute, late night reservation, and they just weren't ready for me. ( They had to call me the next day and ask me how much I'd been quoted for the room. I had already paid.) That said, I would not return to this hotel.

Convenient

Pros: Location
Location: There are restaurants, convenience stores and of course the Palace nearby.
I booked a room at this hotel as it was close to the Palace of Auburn Hills. We were attending a concert there. Unlike other reviews, our room was clean. It has a big fridge with freezer, cooking elements and a microwave. There are NO utensils, plates, glasses or anything else kitchen wise in the room. The beds were comfortable in my opinion. Check-in and check-out were easy. If I was attending another event at the Palace I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Very nice hotel. Large room.

Walked to Meadowbrook amphitheater for a concert. Was about 35 minute walk. Great location. Was surprised the room was so large and included a kitchen. Friendly staff. Quick easy free breakfast: granola bars, oatmeal, muffins and coffee. Not too fancy but worked for us. Thanks!

Comfort on a business trip

Comfortable, Quiet and relaxing - just what I needed. Being a ground floor near the side door was nice too. Only issue was with Side door access occasionally. Front door was only a few steps more

Do not stay here.

The hotel is old and dirty. We walked into our room looked around and found pubic hairs on the counter and sink, shower and then all over the bedding. There was also dust everywhere and run down appliances. We left and asked for a refund within 5mins of checking in. We warned the people walking in as we left and they told us they had checked in the previous night and had all of the same issues and that the staff told them it was dog hair and brought them new sheets to change their own bedding. Still grossed out by the whole experience.
