Pros: The style and the breakfast, late check in.
Cons: Toilet was a bit smelly
Location: Gorgeous town to just mooch around and look at the buildings
Great looking place, lovely decor, fab breakfast. Good location. Pac man / spa invader table went down a treat with the children and adults!

terrific brand new value hotel near centretown

Posted Sep 3, 2014
we spent two months travelling in france and favoured ibis hotels for their dependability and value, except when splurging. this was the best ibis styles hotel we came across. it is brand new, spacious, with great amenities and very clean. it is located beside a lovely stream and only 10 mins walk from the centre of troyes. a terrific choice.

Secure parking, large super clean family room, extensive breakfast, kids welcome pack, friendly staff, free tea and coffee in the lobby, near to town centre. Great - we will definitely stay again!!

Last day in France

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: Modern, well thought out rooms
Cons: Free secure parking would be desirable. Some staff speak poor english
Location: Close to a range of good restaurants in the town centre. We did not have time to explore much but it looked an interesting place
Arrived on our way home from Italy. Hotel comfortable, spacious and well equipped room (wi fi worked well), breakfast self service but very well provisioned.

Half way stay...

Posted Aug 13, 2014
Cons: Parking for vehicles around 2.1m
Excellent hotel for a halfway stay between Calais and the south of France. The hotel is very modern and funky, good English speaking staff and breakfast was superb. No on site restaurant but several close by, we were recommended the Hippopotomus which is a grill type but not impressed (I think we were served Hippo!). My only concern is the parking, it's fine if you have a car as there is a secure onsite (€10) parking but if you have a camper van you need to park on the street albeit it's free.

Great hotel a short walk to Troyes centre

Posted Aug 3, 2014
Fourth time we've stayed here .Family rooms are just that and great for four. .breakfast is usually in the price .Doesnt have a restaurant for evening meal but it's a five minute walk into Troyes where there are plenty of good restaurants and there is a restaurant called hippopotamus just around the corner if you don't want to go hat far.

Fresh and modern

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel easy to find clean and comfy. Room large and bright. Breakfast was all you could eat continental. Plenty of on road parking if you arrive earlyish, or underground parking. Troyes is a lovely town brimming with restaurants. Excellent hotel in an excellent location.

Room too hot!

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Lovely colourful bright decor, with good sized room and clean modern facilities. Excellent breakfast included in price.
Cons: The room was too hot.
This is a great place to stay en route to Calais from Sth of France. The room was just too hot. They controlled the temp from the front desk and although they turned it down on arrival to cool the room, they must have turned it back up later as we all awoke boiling hot at 4am. This was our second visit to this hotel and it was too hot last time as well. I thought it was just us as no-one else has mentioned it, but this has put us off visiting again.
