Cocos Hotel Huanchaco each

The hotel is across the road from what can only be described as one of the most disgusting beaches I have every visited. The stench of effluence was sickening, especially at night. The hotel itself was full of flies and we had to ask for our room to be fumigated to get rid of them. There was a kitchen on the premises which was full of flies and was situated under a staircase. Every time you walked by a swarm of flies came up the stairs. When we were leaving I asked the receptionist to call a taxi for us and we were told it would cost us 1sol per minute. So we went into the road and got a cab. We found dog muck on the floor of our hallway and had to ask for it to be cleaned up. Asked for our laundry to be done and when it came back it had not been rinsed out properly and was still full of soap. We left after 2 days even though we had booked for 4.
