This is a nice hotel, the rooms could use some slight upgrades like new carpet, but overall it is a really nice place and I would stay there again. The staff is very helpful, which is somewhat rare in this part of the world. This is also a good place for children.

hotel is ok but not the KING VILA ROOM

It is an amazing hotel with excelent service, the only bad thing about this hotel is that the KING VILA ROOM are the worse room because of its far distance from lobby however the word of KING VILA will make some big expectation for you. it is around 5 minutes walking distance from lobby and in the winter time it is very difficult to reach your room; always pay attention to book the rooms located in the main buildings, if you would like to upgrade to the main building then the price difference is not reasonable

Marriott brand but is it Marriott standard?

I have booked a standard room. Hotels.com do not specify that standard means a room with the backyard view, so be aware. Backyard view is a view over a walled fence on the other side of the very narrow street. The room was therefore dark. It didn't help, that there was a power cut from about 3AM until when I was checking out. Nobody at the reception even apologised for it. The restaurant should nominally be open until 12 AM, but please, do not count on it if you plan to stay a bit longer outside and get the food late at the hotel. After a long day out we were told that the restaurant has already been closed. It was 11:45PM. And we had to stay out, as it was not possible to relax in the room - it was snowing and the snow truck was ploughing the snow away from the narrow alley just in front of our window. Huge noise didn't let us relax at the hotel. I gave 4 to the condition of the hotel, though.
