Great hotel CLOSE to Hong Kong Disneyland

Posted Sep 18, 2016
Apparently everything in Hong Kong is small. With that being said it was hard finding a place for us and 3 kids (6, 5, and 2). Rooms with 2 QUEEN size beds are impossible to find. So I decided on two rooms at this hotel. Super convenient to Hong Kong Disneyland. The Rambler Garden free shuttle apparently is not free (220 HKD one way), so we took a taxi to Tsing Yi MTR station (~26 HKD) and then go to Hong Kong Disneyland (42HKD) ...super easy, super cheap. Also there's a small mall on the 1B floor ...7-11, 2 restaurants, super market, souvenirs, smoke shop. That was SUPER convenient for milk, sodas, beer, sandwiches, etc, etc.

Comfortable and far from the crowds

Posted Aug 20, 2016
Pros: Alex from reception - extremely helpful. Swimming pool - clean, huge and great for lap swimming. Convenient shops and restaurant in the plaza
Cons: Internet in the rooms!!
Location: Far from the crowds but very accessible - great for families or people who are not all nighters.
Expedia Mystery Hotel - price not that different to booking directly. From HK international airport caught Airport Express to Tsing Yi Station for HK$ 60 then a red taxi to hotel for less than HK$40. Check in and out very smooth. Room on the 27th floor overlooked the docks, but beyond that view of Hong Kong spectacular. Bed was very comfortable with clean sheets, Roomy for HK standards. Bathroom small but clean. No extras other than toothbrush and soap. Lower level has a plaza which has several shops including a Parknshop supermarket, a 7-11, a laundry and a Cafe-de Coral restaurant. I paid a refundable HK$50 for an octopus card from the train station, put some money on it and used it on all the local transport and most of the stores. Transport from the hotel - minibuses 88F which goes to Tsing Yi and 88G which goes to Kwai Fong - both run every few minutes until after 10pm. Taxis always available. Swimming pool belongs to Rambler Garden Club and serves all 3 hotels on site and the residential towers - costs HK$25 per person per session, but well worth it. Garden on the 6th floor offers some respite and internet can be accessed from the right point. Internet accessible in the foyer, restaurant and certain spots in the garden. Avoid the common areas if possible at around 9pm and 9am because there are coachloads of tourists arriving or leaving and they fill the reception area and the plaza shops.
