Hotel close to the airport.

Posted Jan 10, 2017
You take the train to the Ti Tsing station and from there you catch a cab to the hotel. If you call a head there is a free shuttle that runs from the hotel to the station. Much easier to arrange from the hotel to the station. First come, first serve for space. The shuttle will also drop you off at the harbor where we caught the hop on hop off bus. It picks you back up at 8:00pm (2000). Very nice. No vegetarian food near the hotel. So if you are one you will have to eat someplace else.

Basic features available. Good for temporary stay.

Posted Jan 7, 2017
Pros: Shuttle bus
Cons: Could somebody please answer the phone!
Location: Magnificent view of the Container Port!
A basic 3 star equivalent hotel with basic features for a good night of stay. Cannot expect more than basic features of a bed and a shower. Despite of the fact that it promoted itself to have free wifi, it is only available at the lobby! If you need in room connection to the Internet, you have to ask for a mobile phone from the reception and use that as a hot spot to share wifi. One major problem with the hotel was that NOBODY was answering the phone! I tried to call the hotel 7 times to ask for information and no one answers the phone until it was redirected to the security control room one time! When I checked in, another customer expressed that he called the hotel 8 times without having somebody to pick up the phone! One advantage of the hotel is that it has a shuttle bus to Tsim Sha Tsui but be mindful about the schedule as it runs only a few times a day.

Awful hotel

Posted Dec 14, 2016
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything: hotel staff, hotel room, hotel cleanliness, hotel amenities, hotel price.
Location: Nothing to do nearby. There is a small mall there, with a 7-eleven and a small supermarket. There is a minibus to take to the MTR.
The first room they gave us was dirty, lacked a working AC, had a fly buzzing around, and lacked the typical things found in HK hotel rooms, such as toothpaste, bottles of water, slippers, and soap. We had also asked for a double bed, but was given the tiniest room with two single beds, with the excuse that the hotel was booked full and did not have any more double beds. We asked to switch rooms, but the hotel staff was rude and unwilling to accommodate the request and said the hotel was booked fully. Until my companion stepped in, and they assented to switching rooms. It was already 1 am by that time, so it was obvious that the hotel really wasn't booked full. They just didn't want to switch the room, and so who knows if they also had double beds available, but just didn't feel like accommodating the request. Even after switching rooms, we had the same problem: dirty room (looked like no one had cleaned in weeks), dirty towels, no bottles of water, no slippers, and no soap. Since it was just one night, we ended up just staying put in that room, and leaving early in the morning.
