Nice Hotel

Pros: Quiet and walking distance to Denny's. Great Staff.
The Hotel was nice and clean. Could use some updates but very nice. The only issue is the access to and from the hotel as a major freeway project is going on at the front of the hotel for many years to come. Hope this does not cause the hotel to close.

A great hotel

The staff was very cooperative under some trying circumstances. Lots of road construction in the neighborhood which made it difficult to get to the hotel. However once you figured it out it wasn't that difficult. The excellence of the hotel made it worthwhile.

Best Western.....Best Hotel on Road to San Diego

This Hotel cannot be beat for the price and value. The set up for handicapped is excellent! Parking easy and free. Amenities are plentiful from ice to coffee. Hot breakfast is included! Only shortcoming is TV remote is difficult to navigate. I travel a lot and intend to stay here again.

Stay away.

First, the freeway exit ramp was closed due to construction work. There was, of course, no notice from the hotel or Hotels.com. about this. The other issue was that the detour was very convoluted and there was an extreme level of frustration in even finding the hotel. It sure was nice that the brain trust at the hotel posted directions AT the hotel. They need to know that once you find the hotel the customer probably figured it out. We found our room. For this price level the room was dirty and below par. The tub was filthy. The "fitness" center was tiny and 3 of the machines barely functioned. The pool was tiny. We arrived mid-day but wanted to sleep because we just travelled 1,300+ miles. Housekeeping was blasting their radio which prevented us from sleeping. I was apprehensive about saying anything for fear of retribution. Overall, just a real disappointing experience.

Very nice hotel!!

Outstanding hotel. Former Comfort In which has been completely and beautifully updated by Best Western. Friendly staff, great breakfast. Very quiet. Super check-in and out. Adequate, accessible parking. Would definitely stay there again.

Ok, but not what the photos show.

It was supposed to be a Best Western Plus, but it was a bit of a minus. Older, not updated, probably had bed bug problems. Mattress had bed bug covers, so makes you think. It was not what the photos made it look like. It was just OK.
