The little hotel that tries

Posted Jan 13, 2018
Pros: Staff
Cons: Do not rent rooms under rehab.
Location: Right off a Main Street, close to everything.
The staff is excellent. The hotel has a decent breakfast and happy hour each day. The hotel, not so much. They are trying, it just isn't there yet. The rooms are adequate, but small. Things are missing like doors on cabinets. Our air conditioning stopped working several days into our stay.

Nice, friendly staff

Posted Jan 10, 2018
Pros: The cleanliness, helpful and friendly staff, and the area where it is at.
Cons: Nothing
Location: It is right on the main road, and close to Tucson Mall!
We had an issue getting into our room because the room key would not work. The staff was very helpful in making sure we were able to get this resolved so we could get into our room as soon as possible!

Reasonably priced spacious room

Posted Jan 8, 2018
Pros: Spacious room.
Cons: Noisy Saturday night, and we wished there was an adult pool hour. Minimum towels.
Location: DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun, less than 10 minutes away, was spectacular.
Location was great, easy to get to places we wanted to see.

Great hotel.

Posted Nov 27, 2017
Pros: Nice, clean rooms. Great breakfast.
Cons: Wish PJ's had a little more seating capacity. Gets a little crowded sometimes during breakfast.
Location: Pima Air and Space Museum is a must see.
I stay here every time I go to Tucson to visit my daughter and the grand kids. Always great service and a great room. Wonderful breakfast at PJ's their onsite "restaurant".

Cons: We have stayed here several times during visits to family in the area. This time our room had a thermostat that would not hold the temperature we set
Service is good; staff is very nice. Breakfast is good, with hot eggs, meat, potatoes, etc., waffles, yogurt, etc.

A place to crash

Posted Nov 3, 2017
The breakfast was the only redeeming quality. Wide selection of food. The room was nasty. Woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and was greeted by a few Cockroaches crawling around the floor and shower. Thankfully we only needed to crash for a few hours then hit the road. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Thank you for your recent review of the Best Western Tucson Foothills. We value all of our guests opinions and appreciate feedback. It is clear there is a wide discrepancy from what one guest sees compared to another. So i encourage you to come back and see all the hard work the staff has been putting into the product through renovations.

Great hotel/Great Value

Posted Oct 30, 2017
Pros: Full Breakfast, Happy Hour, updated hotel rooms.
Cons: Outside of hotel is dated.
Location: I didn't especially care for Oracle Road as it seems one is always trying to get from one side of the road to the other, not the hotel's fault.
Buddy and I stayed the weekend for a college football game. Love the full breakfast and happy hour.

Nice, handy location.

Posted Oct 27, 2017
Pros: Staff--100%. TV was good, room was comfortable for the most part. Wish we could have stayed and used the pool and workout room.
Cons: The bathroom fan in our room was broken, the air conditioner was freezing or nothing, and we smelled smoke from the room below apparently, briefly.
Location: Beautiful place, botanical garden with butterfly exhibit up the street, reptile center of some sort half an hour away.
First off, the staff is super nice and helpful. We arrived early and were allowed to check in as a room was available. Our room was on the second floor, above the pool. The bed was comfortable and although there were people out late at the pool, the noise was no problem. The room had a small frig and microwave, coffeemaker, decent shower. Only drawback right away was it was kind of hard to figure out where our room was--the road out front was really rough and we turned into the parking lot too soon to get off of it. We couldn't stay late enough for the breakfast at 6:30 a.m., but again, very nice staff at the front--we were given lunchboxes of food to take with us.
