Convenient location, good amenities

Posted Oct 17, 2016
Pros: Location, parking and friendly staff, great entertainment in lounge
Cons: Current Road construction (which isn't in control) Pool drain (has to be done)
Location: UofA, museums, gates pass, A Mountain, good variety of restaurants
Great location for UofA, museums, A Mountain and a variety of good restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. I prefer motel atmosphere so this was a perfect choice. Loved hearing the train in the distance. The cantina entertainment was most enjoyable.

Really great hotel!

Pros: We got free breakfast from their attached cafe. Way better than the standard hard-boiled eggs, bagels, and cereal you normally get.
Cons: The light switches flicker. That's a tad annoying when you're trying to sleep.
Location: Downtown Tuscon is literally 7 minutes away. We went to a concert at the Rialto Theater and there were restaurants and bars all over. Plus, Uber.
We had the benefit of having an 'end of the aisle' room. There are quaint patios with ashtrays for people who smoke but it doesn't smell bad for people who don't smoke. There are no elevators, that we could see. Frank, he was the clerk who checked us in, went above and beyond to help us out with our refrigerator. He was off the clock and still stayed to make sure we were all set and satisfied. The room comes with ear plugs, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, and coffee stuffs. It also has an awesome magnified mirror that is attached to the wall but moves out if needed. The shower had decent pressure and was clean. The beds were comfortable and the outside sound was minimal.

Good budget hotel

Perfect hotel for what I needed - just a one night quick trip. Restaurant is diner style but cooked a fine breakfast. staff was nice. Is a little far for walking to UofA campus in the heat but was do-able in the evening.

Nice place close to UA campus

Posted Aug 23, 2016
I booked this hotel because it was both close to the UA campus and my daughter's place. The staff was super-friendly; the place was clean - both inside and out; the only drawback was the night "noise": traffic and trains; however, the hotel has no control over these things, and they did provide earplugs! I would definitely stay here again.
