Our family loves staying at this hotel, and we have stayed many times. Their free made-to-order breakfast is delicious. We love the clean rooms and the pool. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We love staying here. The rooms are a great size, they are always very clean. The views are great, and the breakfast is delicious.

Would not let me cancel one night, when I was told I cancel up to 24 hours before reservation. Had to pay for two nights but I was only there for one night.

Great hotel. Best breakfast anywhere.

Location: Visit Tombstone. Attended "Carnival of Illusions", a great magic show. Vivace restaurant was awesome. Sushi place in the main square was delightful.
We were scheduled to stay a week. We walked in the room and my wife saw a beautiful stall shower. "I want a bathtub". Stupid me. The staff to the rescue. The hotel was full that night so they made the change the next day to a room with a bathtub and on the top floor. I asked for the location of the nearest gas station. "One moment sir." She printed out complete directions for me. The San Jose Sharks were in the playoffs and we wanted to watch the game that wasn't available in our room. No problem. The bartender in the hotel bar changed the station to the game for us for both games. Too bad we lost. Best breakfast in any hotel. Buffet style with eggs made to order including great omelettes. Fruit, pastries, bacon, sausage, orange and other juices, etc. Room was comfortable and great air conditioning. Thanks for a great tip to Tucson.

Great Place from room to breakfast to the pool

Everything about this place was nice. The people were friendly, the location was good, the pool was nice, and it has a very good breakfast. It is a great place to stay if you want to use Tucson as a central point to go to other places. I would stay often.

Beautiful setting

Pros: The setting was beautiful. The breakfast very nice. The happy hour a nice touch.
Cons: Perhaps just some training of staff.
Location: We hiked. Visited the Botanical Garden and the Sonoran Desert Museum.
This hotel is in a beautiful setting. I only wished the rest of the experience matched. Check in we were told we'd have to wait because our room was "dirty". Perhaps if they had said that housekeeping had not completed cleaning the room it would have sounded better. Upon check in we were informed that the pool was not available. We were looking forward to relaxing by the pool. Not traveling to another hotel down the road. Food trays left in the hallway with food on them for the day was not a pleasing site.

I completely agree with you about referring to the rooms as "dirty" - this is the sort of fine-tuning of verbage I am working on with the Front Office team. I returned to the Front Office recently after it went through a period of transition, and we are working our way through several changes of this nature. I appreciate your observation and I will share them with the team during our discussions. I am very sorry that the pool was unavailable during your stay; there is no "good" time to perform this sort of maintenance, and I apologize that it occurred during the time you were with us. I will also be sure to share your comments about the room service trays with our Food and Beverage and Housekeeping Managers so they can address it with their team. I appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as I know they will. We hope that you are willing to give us another chance to "wow" you if your travels bring you back to Tucson. The hotel was great. The staff was courteous, the room comfortable, and the location perfect. The only problem was the garbage truck that emptied a dumpster from the restaurant next door each morning around 430-530am. Next time would definitely request a room at the other end of the hotel.

Amazing

I would stay here a million times over. I am a super picky hotel person and I was so happy with this hotel. The staff was amazing, the hotel is updated to perfection, the beds were super comfortable, the breakfast was fantastic! We really miss that breakfast today! Happy hour everyday with free drinks was the best! Can we talk about the breakfast view overlooking the Catalina Foothills? Spectacular! We loved that we could also walk out our door to Starbucks, CVS and some frozen yogurt. We stayed with three adults and 2 children, room was perfect size and the kids loved it. I would stay here again and would recommend to everyone! The pics don't do the hotel justice, top notch!
