Lodge on the Desert

Lodge on the Desert

10/10 Excellent
"The lodge is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy your surroundings. The cactus gardens are beautiful and well kept. Our Casita was perfect. We were upgraded from a king to a king suite. It was so roomy and well designed. The bathroom was newly renovated and it was beautiful with Mexican tile in the shower and a gorgeous Talavera sink basin. Our suite had two air conditioners which kept both rooms the perfect temperature. It also had a fireplace that we didn’t use. The pool was large and clean in a wonderful oasis setting. We had drinks and chips at the bar and enjoyed chatting with the bartender and another gentleman. The only thing that needed improvement was the breakfast buffet. It was good, but for the price of $18, I expected more. Drinks were not included in the price and cost an additional $3.50. It was similar to the free breakfast you get at many hotels. The resident cat was so cute and friendly. Overall we really enjoyed our time there and would recommend it to others."

8/10 Good
"Good location and the staff was friendly. Room was clean. Only downside was the hallways had some Cheez-It crumbs on the floor at one point, probably just a kid, no big deal. My real complaint is the $20 parking fee tacked on as a guest. If I’m already paying full price to stay, parking should be included, not an extra charge."
