This hotel made me very satisfied. I love the style of the decoration, check in process is good, breakfast is good. I would book this place again if I had chance in the future.

Shabby chic, Mexican style, room was comfortable, bathroom was tight. Not enough outlets for electronics and the accessory charger on the bedside lamp was faulty. Kept having problems with the key card, kept demagnetizating. Food at Gringos was good.

Great location with great views but a few issues

I liked a lot of things about this hotel. The location was great, the scenery was great, the room was great. The issues we had were the cable wasn't getting a good signal and the shower didn't drain properly, stood in water while taking a shower. I would still recommend this place as everything else was fantastic!! It might have been just that room. Staff were very friendly!!!

Southwest charm

If you're looking for super modern square bare atmosphere then stay in a chain hotel. If you're looking for traditional southwest with character then this is a great option. Cozy with painted tile sinks and shower but still giving you wifi, movie channels and a comfy bed. The topper was the view from the very private balcony. Birds nesting in the palm trees right outside. Lush landscaping and a great view of the mountains plus the city lights below at night. Continental breakfast in the attached restaurant with lovely patio views was a nice way to start the day. The staff was very friendly and attentive to any requests. We will be returning.

Peaceful city oasis

Pros: The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are large with wonderful private terraces.
Cons: The bathrooms are tiny and have showers but no bathtubs.
Location: Location in Catalina foothills close to parks shopping and restaurants.
I prepaid for my stay but when I arrived for check in the clerk said that he must run my credit/debit card in case of "incidentals", such as damage to room. He was not able to validate either of my cards and said they were not approved. I protested and another guest said the same thing had happened to his wife and her card was perfectly good also. The clerk finally called his manager for approval. I think their IT system needs an update. During my previous stay the clerks were unable to activate my room key and ended up sending me to the restaurant next door for about half and hour.

Needs an update and need to fix or replace things

Room is dark and bathroom is VERY dated and cramped Beds were comfy and nice backboard ( punched tin) Nice artwork in the resort. Rooms just need some tlc

Great value.

Pros: Excellent value for the money.
Location: Not close to the town but great restaurants and shopping nearby.
Very attractive decor. Helpful and friendly staff. Good complimentary breakfast. Wonderful views of the sunset from the restaurant balcony. Well maintained grounds. The room was quiet and comfortable.
