Love being close to Reid Park

Posted Mar 25, 2017
The stairways seem to develop strong odors. Everything else is great.

Did not like this hotel, it wasn't that much comfortable and the room had a weird smell to it

Good hotel for a night stay

Posted Mar 13, 2017
Pros: Staff was freindly...price was good.
Cons: The portable AC unit in the room works on a remote control. Instructions on hoe to use it would have been helpful.
Location: Reid Park, U of A
We needed to find a hotel for a basketball tournament in Tucson. The hotel was convenient to get to and the front desk staff was very helpful.

Thank you for your feedback. I will share it with my staff and look to have a solution for directions for the remote control. We look forward to having you back again.

Dirty/ Plumbing Issues

Posted Mar 13, 2017
The room wasn't clean...not filthy but definitely not clean. The bathtub was gross and the bathroom smelled of urine. Definitely needed a good amount of bleaching. Our toilet wouldn't flush completely but with three toddlers in tow at 11pm I just let it go and we went to bed. The next morning I called the front desk THREE times before they finally brought a plunger up, in the meantime my boys used the toilet and tried to flush it causing it to overflow. I bathed my one year old with a full sized towel in the tub because it was gross after a very quick bath the tub took forever to drain. Never mind the maid who pounded on the door and rudley asked if we were leaving while texting in her cell phone at 8am!!! I told the front desk clerk at check out and he responded with "I'm sorry there is nothing I can do". I don't usually leave reviews and take most of the ones I read at face value. But this hotel wasn't worth the amount we paid (about 140.00 with taxes). If your looking for a place to crash this hotel is fine but I'm sure there are cheaper and cleaner places to sleep.

Taryn, I'm so sorry to hear about the experience you had. This is obviously not the experience we planned for you, nor anything to do with our standards. I will definitely be sharing your review with my staff and we will improve. If you come to Tucson again, please give me a call, as I'd love the opportunity to show you this is not acceptable to us either.

One night stay

Posted Mar 3, 2017
Pros: The room was mostly quiet and didn't smell like smoke.
Cons: The bathroom was a little gross. There was long black hair in the tub and fingernail clippings under the vanity. The pillows were a bit lumpy.
Location: The hotel was easy to locate. Since we were only there a short while we wanted to see San Xavier Del Bac Mission that is nearby.
We only spent the night as we were traveling elsewhere. Front desk personnel were friendly. Check in was quick.

Room was not clean. Shower curtain was broken. I was not happy with this hotel especially considering the cost of the room. I will say the staff was very nice and there were many breakfast choices.

Horrible room

Posted Jan 14, 2017
The door to our room was located on an exterior wall on the outside of the hotel, a small cheep lock is all that separates us from the homeless ppl out side. Not only did it feel unsafe but the room was horribly outdated. The toilet seat was broken!

Excellent place to stay! Fresh linens, comfortable rooms, courteous and knowledgeable staff members, close to shopping and restaurants and pet friendly! Alan, at the front desk, checked us in to our room and Rebecca checked us out in the morning...both were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good and had a nice selection to choose from. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
