We stayed in this property 3 weeks, and we are not usually overly fussy folks. Things we really liked:
1. Owners very responsive to questions and needs, even when they were traveling themselves.
2. Location - very close to the university, downtown, freeway, etc.
Disappointments:
1. Location! When golfing my husband repeatedly heard, “That’s a very bad part of town.” And it was. Homeless climed the fence to sleep in laundry room. Not an area you wanted to walk or bike in!
2. Cleanliness of the unit. We wiped fridge handle and switch plates, before using them. My husband wiped the bathroom baseboard when he couldn’t stand looking at any longer.
3. Lack of supplies. Only one 3 qt pot with lid, 3 fry pans without lids, for example. It was more like an extended stay motel with bare minimum.
We purchased and left inexpensive - measuring spoons & cups, cookie sheet, clothes basket, plastic storage bowls, flower vase, dish rags. We had dish dowels for picnics and they were a nice addition to the one available there. We brought home the lightbulbs we bought to replace dim ones, and cleaning supplies.
If you are planning an extended stay and plan to cook meals as we did, being everything you will need.
