Love the hotel, Horrible staff

Posted Feb 10, 2017
Love the hotel, stay often...but the front desk staff was horrible and rude. Spent HOURS waiting for check-in (which has never happened) almost 5 hours before I got into a room. Manager was not much help (new and incompetent..should have stuck with staffthey had because they were GREAT.) Room was amazing and cozy, which is why I love staying at this hotel. Front desk help was unprepared, unorganized, and appeared "high". Sadly I won't be coming back until they get their stuff together, ruined part of my trip and ended up leaving for a different hotel suite.

I am glad you love the hotel and know that this will be corrected where you can come back and know the staff will be ready to take great care of you. Again, thank you!! Sincerely, Valerie

Beautiful and lots of space

Posted Jan 15, 2017
Pros: The space and setup within the rooms--feels like an apartment. Plus, looks nice!
Cons: Maybe having a light withOUT a fan near the shower to avoid showering in dim light.
Staff were friendly and accommodating--I had an interview and asked for a late checkout. Turned out, interview went longer than expected and staff was still accommodating and friendly. Rooms were spacious, giving an apartment-like feel with 4 small spaces that gave a feel of 4 different rooms. Two of the doors didn't close well but no big deal. One thing to keep in mind is that the rooms are bordering a huge courtyard and pool area which makes getting to your room take a while if you're placed far from the lobby. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay! Highly recommend to others.

Dear Anonymous, Thank you so much for your 5 out of 5 rating. I am so happy you enjoyed your time and the ambiance of our property. I loved seeing your pictures. The grass area below the trees is one of my favorite places on the property. We have a truly hidden gem here at the Radisson. I will pass on you kind review of our food to the Chef. Thank you again for you gracious words and we will look forward to your next visit.

Fire alarm works well

Posted Oct 22, 2016
Pros: Clean, quiet, was able to request room away from pool noise.
Cons: See alarm issue above. Fire Dept took too many minutes to respond IMO. Also AC vent filter smelled musty and/or moldy when air turned off overnight.
Location: Lots to do and see in this part of Tucson. Convenient to shopping and pharmacies.
Fyi, if someone's child pulls the fire alarm.... It is the loudest alarm I have ever heard in the hotel setting. Glad it didn't get pulled at 2am.

The Radisson has gone down hill...

Posted Oct 17, 2016
Pros: The room was clean when we arrived.
Cons: continental breakfast, room climate, TV's were horrible
Location: Great location! Great access to Mt. Lemmon and downtown.
I've stayed in this specific hotel motel times over the years. It has began the decline and is no longer on my list of suitable hotels for family travel. The Jacuzzi was green with algae, the pool ice cold, room service trays were left outside of rooms for over 24 hours without being touched by the staff, the HVAC would have felt great in July & August - but it was either ice cold in the room or sweltering with no in-between and we were charged nearly $50 for breakfast when the front desk said it was included with the room (Not to mention the waitress had family members in the next booth that didn't have to pay). We're done with Radisson - there are many other hotels in Tucson at comparable prices.

Dear Jeff, Thank you for your honest feed back of the property. I am glad you found it to be clean and a great location to area attractions, but, sorry that our remodel is not complete as of yet. We are in process of changing all of the TV's along with all the furniture and carpet. I have addressed the room service trays with our Food and Beverage Director as well as our Housekeeping Director. I'm not sure what encountered with the breakfast and if you were on a package or how that was booked ,but, would be more than happy to look into that for you. I would love for you to come back when we are done with the remodel not only to show you that the rooms are up to par and clean, but to show you we listened and are re-training our staff to take care of the guests better and the items they should. Hope you will come back and try us again!
