Older, renovated hotel showing improvement!

Posted Feb 20, 2017
Pros: Great pool area, good breakfast w/hot options, excellent price.
Cons: Housekeeping missed replenishing items; towels were hung to be reused but were replaced with clean ones anyway. Rooms are small.
Location: Some shopping, restaurants, desert activities.
This hotel has many amenities that balance the age and size of the rooms. In addition to complimentary breakfast (could us more larger seating area), there is a happy hour, and cookies were offered at check-in. Free Wi-Fi and parking.

Nice place to stay while in Tucson

Posted Feb 19, 2017
Cons: Our room initially had only one chair which is awkward for reading or watching TV.
Location: The Tohono Chul gardens and bistro behind the hotel are an excellent introduction to the Sonoran desert.
Nice hotel, nice location (but about 9 miles north of downtown Tucson which however is easily accessed via N Oracle Rd). For a stay beyond a night, a court-side/pool-side room is recommended. An excellent full breakfast is provided as advertised, and the hospitality 'hour' includes complimentary snacks and beverages.

Comfortable bed and great pillows.

Posted Feb 19, 2017
Pros: Location, bed and pillows, breakfast.
Cons: Bathroom could be updated.
Location: We loved the beauty of the foothills. Drive a little north to find great golf courses. 4 miles from horseback riding and 1 mile from Tohono Chul par
Good location in North Foothills. Love the wonderful breakfast with many options. Nice happy hour with beer and wine and so-so snacks. We had issues with wi-fi but it was resolved after a couple of days. Pretty courtyard/pool area.

Additional unexpected costs.

Posted Feb 17, 2017
Pros: Clean, nice.
Cons: The extra hidden charges that came from nowhere.
Location: Food
I was charged $5 a day extra, I do not know why. $50 was taken out of my charge card as a Deposit which I never received back. Too many extra costs that were completely unexpected.

Great Hotel for Gem Show

Posted Jan 30, 2017
Pros: Not fancy, but is everything I need for business travel. Easy parking, Great neighborhood.
Cons: The wifi seemed slow.
Location: North Tucson: Whole Foods, Pei Wei, Starbucks, Frost-best gelato in Tucson located in Casas Adobes Shopping Center.
This is in North Tucson away from the Gem Show but worth the 20 minute drive to be able to be near great restaurants, shopping etc. Good value and the best part is the staff is sincere and cares that you enjoy your stay.

Hotel Price for Motel Experience

Posted Jan 20, 2017
Pros: Good breakfast. Nicely landscaped.
Cons: Don't bill these places as HOTELS. A Hotel has an inner entry so as to allow guests the luxury of opening the curtains or even a balcony.
Location: It was in a fairly decent location. There was no shortage of activities in the area if you appreciate the outdoors. There was good food nearby also.
It was a decent MOTEL. The room needed some paint in places. The door lock was improperly installed and looked shabby. I have no major complaints, other than I recall looking for a HOTEL on and paying for a HOTEL and getting a MOTEL.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your comments. We are actually neither a motel or hotel but an Inn & Suites. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Unfortunately during your time of visit, we were in the busiest time of the year for all of Tucson which is why you experienced a higher rate. Best Regards, Kathryn Castro, Assistant GM

Older. Looks and feels that way.

Posted Jan 20, 2017
Pros: The best thing was the bed & pillows. Location was conveniently located so it made it easy to visit the places we really wanted to see.
Cons: Paint the room and clean the carpet.
Location: See above comments.
The room was in bad condition. Carpet is filthy. Walls need painting. Small items broken and in disrepair. I'd never stay there again.
