Heavenly beds...

Posted Jul 21, 2016
Beds are small and accommodate 1 adult comfortably. We needed a bed for 2 adults and a bed for 2 children.

Nice place, but no hot water!

Posted Jul 6, 2016
The hotel and facilities were beautiful and well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful for the most part. The only snag in our stay was the lack of water in the morning. Apparently there was an issue with the plumbing and this prevented us from being able to shower in the morning.

Very nice has many amenities only thing parking is very far from the rooms and the pathway is very bumpy. Very difficult to walk in high heels

Beautiful resort in the desert foothills

Posted May 13, 2016
Pros: The swimming pools area and remote setting.
Cons: Somethings looked a bit worn/old (i.e. cabana area). Awkward service moments (check-in glitch, a couple at the pool area), though quickly resolved.
Location: It is a bit removed from Tucson downtown but close to the foothills and desert hikes.
We had a slight glitch when we first checked-in (didn't get the room we booked on Expedia), but the hotel made quick amends of that. We stayed in a beautiful room the second night looking out into the desert garden area. The staff overall was very friendly and attentive, particularly in the pool area. The pool manager made sure to check on every guest without being intrusive. The facilities are outstanding. The food at Sabine's (the pool bar & grill) was quite good, and they made great cocktails. The Azul restaurant food was good but nothing outstanding, and unfortunately did not get to try their flagship restaurant, Contigo Latin Kitchen. Will have to try it next time we come back (which is definitely where we'll be staying next time in Tucson).

Grounds are very nice, pool was awesome, rooms are nice and clean. The only complaint is the bed. For a 4-star resort the bed was not up to par. This was the only factor for not giving a perfect rating.

Upgraded to room with Mountain view & they put us in room overlooking parking lot & road. The room had a huge cobweb in corner of ceiling with spider in it. We complained & they put is in another room that smelled like mothballs. Overall, not impressed & would not return

Resort & Spa

Posted Apr 20, 2016
Pros: The resort atmosphere. Swimming, tennis, etc.
The hotel had the resort and spa feel. Wonderful pool area. Service was a bit too slow for what we felt should have been appropriate although all the staff was very pleasant.
