Wonderful

This is my second stay this year. It is for business travel so I don’t tend to take full advantage of the facilities. The staff is tremendous. Welcoming and helpful. Rooms are spacious. Food was wonderful and grounds are gorgeous. (Great gift shop with unique items.). Really love this place.

Mini Getaway from LA

The Westin properties are generally great. La Paloma is a beautiful property. Nestled in the foothills, it's. an amazing getaway location. The only thing that stops me from rating a 5 throughout is that the rooms need upgrades! The standard room size is excellent, but I don't think the bed in my room was a Heavenly Bed. Please also put in new pillows - all my pillows were flat. No more feather down pillows please. Otherwise, it was a beautiful time!

Great Hotel

Wonderful place to just relax and unwind. Liked that everything we needed was on the premises. The hotel staff was friendly and very accomodating. Will stay here again the next time we are in town.

Too Short

Pros: Everything
Cons: Add a ski lift, monorail and amusement park
Location: Hiking, golf, you name it... except monorail, ski lift and amusement park
Who knew it was so nice? We're going back soon! Really

It's a Westin

Pros: Although the a new property, it is very well maintained.
Cons: Housekeeping failed to provide even basis amenities... soap, tissues, etc.
Location: Hiking, wine festivals, great restaurants, UA sports, etc
Usual comforts that you expect from a Westin property. Nice facilities, excellent food, and beautiful views of the Catalina mountains.

Cons: Please clean carpet. My 1-year old son was crawling around the room. When I picked him up his legs from knees down to the tops of his feet were black.
Overall is was still good but, the cleanliness in the rooms need to be addressed. My 1-year old son was crawling around the room. When I picked him up his legs from knees down to the tops of his feet were black. Really disturbing to know that the carpet had not been cleaned for who knows how long.
