Quuet and very cleab in comparison to others in to

Nice atmosphere and very peaceful. Staff was very helpful during my stay. If i had questions tgey were very helpful to say the least. Thanks.

Decent Room for the Money

Pros: Not expensive. The front desk staff was friendly.
Cons: Eliminate - don't just cover up - the smell of cigarette smoke in a No Smoking room.
It was decent quality for the price. You're not paying for a luxury room, still it was clean and comfortable. Or mostly clean. Our only complaint is that, although we specifically reserved a No Smoking room, there was a faint smoky smell upon first entering the room. It smelled like they tried to cover it up with spray and after being in the room for a few minutes it wasn't noticeable. Still.....

I am truly sorry for your room smelling of smoke. We do our best to remove smell if it does happen sorry there was still a smell upon your arrival. Hope you come back and see us again and we get a 5 out of 5 next time.

Very minimal

Pros: I liked that there were no extras in the room. The room seemed very open because there was only a dresser and tv and desk.
Cons: Updating their online profile. We were very disappointed that there was no complimentary breakfast.
Location: The location is very convenient. The hotel is near several restaurants and not too far from the activities.
There was not much in the room which was actually ok. Online said that there was complimentary breakfast but there was not. But we did get 10% off at Denny's while we stayed at the hotel. The pool was nice the one time we were able to use it. The pool was closed most of the days we were there for some reason. I also did not like that we did not receive a receipt at check out.

Staff friendly, accommodations poor and dirty

Mold in the toilet mold in the shower cigarette ashes in the corners of the room of a non-smoking room, light fixtures barely anchored to the wall. Had to ask for an iron for the room cord frayed scorched bottom. Refrigerator smelly doesn't get cold enough.

I am sorry your stay was so awful I shall look into this and figure out what happened. All lights are brand new put in by contractors as well as all Irons should be brand new just bought them. I am truly sorry this happened and I will fix the issues so know one else has to go through this. Thanks for letting me know about everything I get right on that.

Was under renovation.. And staff are thieves

Half hotel shut down for renovations, they were going to put my room facing the back, fardest from pool. When ask to change room it took 10 min to convince the front desk. Stayed 2days and When we checked out dirent notice I had forgotten some clothes till next day.. Tryed to call and went down there to talk to front desk/manager. They dirent resolved anything..kept on going back and forth...the cleaning lady dirent answer her phone and were talking about me in spanish, very rude, left my number. But never heard back....Never going to stay there again..

I am sorry you feel that way about your stay. I am sorry we have a few rooms for renovation but it shall be well worth the wait. We did look for the clothes you speak of and none were ever found. I am sorry for the inconvenience you had to deal with.

Booooooooo...thumbs down

I can't rate this hotel at all because THEY GAVE MY PRE-PAID ROOM AWAY five minutes before we arrived after a 7 hour drive :( The front desk had no solutions for me, didn't offer to check for a different room at their other location across town, just decided to call me to let me know he had just given my room away...who does that?!? Red Roof Inn, that's who. I will never even attempt to stay at another RRI EVER again.

Dirty bathroom and carpet.

I was really not happy with my stay at Red Roof Inn South Tucson. I have never been to a room where someone had obviously taken a shower before we arrived. The bathroom floor was wet and there was sand and hair in the shower. The carpet was dirty. That evening two young men sat in front of our room and smoked. Not a pleasant experience. We will not be returning there.

I am so sorry about your stay. I could not agree more about the carpeting that is why we are in the process of removing it. Come back and see us again when it is finished for a completely different stay.

Bargain hotel if for traveling through Tucson

Night shift clerk is wonderfully helpful. Walking distance to Denny's, right off the freeway.
