Good place ror 1 night

Location: This is a layover only location. Nothing to do. The food at Del's Place was very good.
This is my 2nd stay. First stay was fine but this time they placed me in a 2nd floor west facing room, left the drapes wide open and the AC unit was turned. I arrived at 7pm and could not get the room cooled until 10pm. I booked the roon 4 weeks in advance and paid for it. You would think as a return client I would have been given a properly 0repared room. Last time for this guy at this place

Pros: Convenience, amenities, price
Cons: Better choices at breakfast, but that would probably raise the rates, so all in all, everything was adequate.
Location: We had been through several times, had already toured as many things as we could along Route 66. Especially folks should check out the Blue Swallow.
This motel served our purposes of a nice, inexpensive place to stay on our way to Wisconsin. Proprietor was very nice. There was a breakfast, serviceable, not my favorite types of food. It wouldn't have been a deal breaker, since we want a comfy bed and internet access, also TV just in case something good ever comes on!

The bed was really comfy. The price was nice, and the hotel manager and workers were very nice and kind.

Dirty, unkept, hole in wall at least 12x12, don't know why. Check in was rude!!! Poor poor TV. Can't find a good thing to say! Not a good night!

The heater blew cold air. They did provide a small heater but it stayed on all the time and made the room uncomfortable. The rooms are much in need of updating. The bed was comfortable and the room seemed clean. Not much for breakfast. Probably would not stay here again.
