It is an older establishment, rooms are average, not updated but clean, perfect fine for an overnight stay. Breakfast is better than average. Definitely a repeat.

Management was quite nice. Everyone I interacted with was also very nice. That being said, the room was not clean, it smelled terrible, there was trash behind the dresser, and everything looked like it had been hastily wiped with a dirty rag.

I went to go check in at the hotel, and they were overbooked so I did not have a room to stay at. I had to go find another room which was more expensive. Then I had to go online and find a number and speak to a customer service representative from Expedia and request a Credit refund. Mileage from

The housekeeper knocked and opened our door at 9 am while we were still asleep. The glass wall has a hole and big crack. The ac woke us up every hour it gets very loud.,I complained to the receptionist during checkout and she didn’t even apologized. It was not a restful stay for us . The bed frame was so loud when you accidentally hit it every time you get to bed.

There was no smoke detector (it was taken apart or broken and put in a drawer), there was an old room key and last person's trash in the nightstand drawer, and the top lock was loose that if hit hard enough the door could be opened.

I'm not even a clean freak or picky, but this bathroom was disgusting. There were hairs and muddy foot prints on the floor. I've stayed here in the past and it wasn't this bad, but will not return. Has really gone downhill.

Great Rooms Near Cars
Excellent stay! Under new management, the rooms were in way better condition than ever before, they even upgraded me to the rooms I wanted which was near my sports cars. Thanks Tucumcari Quality Inn, will be back here again with my friends and family.

I have never complained about a motel room before, but this one was off the charts bad. Room we booked had bugs in the bed. Manager was rude and condescending. Tried to tell us that the little hard bug shells between the sheets were normal and flew in the door when they cleaned. Also tried to pass about 20 of them off as "black lint". Got another, smaller, room. The floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in months! It was absolutely filthy with a cigarette butt and leaves under the desk. Manager said that the room was clean when she rented it to us and all the filth must have happened while we were there. (Neither of us have ever smoked!) Refused to rectify the situation and told us "I'll have to think about it". She basically accused us of causing the entire carpet to be covered with junk and placing the cigarette butt under the desk!!!!! Worst motel and manager ever.
