30minute walk to tulle, which is a really nice place. Not a picturesque Disney town, but lots of lovely architecture and real French people actually living and working there. Plenty to do, places to eat etc

Lovely manor near Tulle

Posted Nov 8, 2017
We were warmly greeted by Frances and made to feel welcome. The room was super comfortable, large, well equipped including tea and coffee facilities, and the bed and pillows were fantastic. Big sized bed, good quality pillows and lovely bedding. Frances recommended a brasserie in Tulle for dinner, and provided a good breakfast. Highly recommend this tastefully restored manor.

First, I found it easily with their directions. It was just like the pictures and better. Really a lovely inn and kept sparkling inside and out. The owners were very kind and helpful! I highly recommend visiting!

Great place to stay. Nice setting, very quiet. Hosts very helpful. Need a car to access and a little difficult to find. Breakfast was very basic and unusual because all guests sat at one long table.

15th Century Guest House par excellence

Posted Oct 16, 2014
Location: Guest house is 4 kms outside Tulle ("the town on the seven hill"), a quiet town famous for its lace in the region of Limousin.
A delightful 15th century guest house, set in its own grounds on a hillside overlooking the town and beautifully renovated by its English owners Francis and Ian, delightful hosts ensuring that your stay is comfortable and most enjoyable. The property is filled with period furniture throughout. Rooms are all en-suite, very comfortable with views over the surrounding countryside. Grounds are open to guests who can take advantage of its relaxing ambience. Well worth a stay.
