Pet friendly!

Pros: Pet friendly, great staff.
Cons: One small trash can in the bathroom isn't enough.
Staff were great, the room was large and the mattress was comfortable.

Great stay. Helpful staff, clean rooms, comfortable king sized bed. Nutritious and tasty breakfast. Would reccomend if traveling in Houston. Close proximity to Walgreens.

Shuttle service stinks

We were taken by hotel shuttle earlier in the evening to the casino one mile away. We were told they would come right back to pick us up whenever we were ready to leave. We called them at 11:45 p.m. & said we were ready to be picked up & was assured they were on their way. Four phone calls & and an hour & a half later, the shuttle FINALLY showed up, with another VERY irritated hotel couple onboard who had been waiting well over an hour to be picked up from their destination. But our phone calls to the hotel during this time were answered by Lora (front desk clerk) each time more irritable, less friendly, & the last one we had with her, she hung up on us. We will not be using the shuttle again.

Away from the city

Pros: Quiet, clean, safe
Cons: A microwave in the room.
Location: Outside the business of downtown, but close enough to get there quickly. Walmart directly behind the hotel if gasoline or supplies are needed.
Plenty of parking close to from door. Big hotel amenities. Quiet lobby, hallways and rooms.

Check room charge

The bed was comfortable...we could never find an amenities flier, brochure or book. The maids would sit by the elevator in the morning eating snacks...talking and laughing. (Our room was just around the corner fro. The elevators.) Normally I would have did something but we were gone mist of the time. The worse thing about Thursday was (actually IS because we are still dealing with it), Crowne Plaza charged us for our stay twice...which actually turns out to three times because we paid through Hotela.com. after I found the first charfe (close to $500) Hotels.com contacted the hotel for us on Sunday...they told me Crowne was going to credit our account. The next morning, Monday, there was a second charge for our stay...this is close to $1,000 charged for a room we already paid for.

Not what I expect from a 3.5 star hotel

First surprise was they do not have complementary coffee in the lobby during the morning. The day we were checking out the housekeeping crew was knocking so hard very early in the morning. Later at about 10 am the smoke alarm went off, we were in the sixth floor, people from every room exiting scared of what was going on, when we started running in the hall looking for the stairs the housekeeping crew was performing their normal shores in a room, when I asked them why they were not rushing out they said that because it was a false alarm!! Come on people, you should have been notifying guest!! Bad experience, not worry about the guest, this hotel is about getting your extra dollar.

All ok except Dinner

Nice staff, room seemed clean. Complaints: The fridge was missing in our room, the tub would not drain and actually "stuff" came out of it into the tub, but the biggest let down was dinner. after ordering didnt have what we wanted, but brought out different food the server says is "really good even though not what we ordered". $50.00 for a $20.00 meal. Ordered wings, brought us chicken breast in sauce after we ate our dinner for an appetizer instead. DONT EAT THERE. The one couple in the eating area tried to warn us, we didn't listen because we were tired. Breakfast may be ok, but there was no way we were chancing it. Staff was really nice though. We could hear kids all night below us, but it is a hotel.

Nice hotel close to Oral Roberts University.

Hotel staff was very nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Sounded like a plane

I would have rated our stay higher; however, the heat/air fan sounded like a plane taking off when it would come on.
