Golden should be manly about it and give back at least two stars. It is a 3 stars property. Dirty. Filthy dirty. The employees have no manners to the point that to make them stop i threatened to call the police at 1:00 am. This place should be closed for a health inspection, demoted by the Tourism Ministry and delisted from Expedia.

The residence we had was old, sofa dirty, ac remote did not work, tv did not work and bathroom sink would not drain. Paid to sleep in a decent bed and swim in a pool that bad no towels. Reception and cleaning ladies nice. Should have been offered a new room right away, instead waited for maintenance that took forever so we gave up.

Comfortable place but room for improvement
The room itself is very clean, comfortable, and nice. My unit had plenty of space with a kitchenette, living room with a couch, and a bedroom. I saw two cockroaches on my unit, but other than that it was clean for the 3 weeks I stayed there. Front Desk: All of the front desk people understand and speak English. You may to repeat it a few times in order for them to completely understand it, but they understand better than most of the Tunisian population. If you come with bags, the bag boy/guy holds your bag ransom for tips. Maintenance/Housekeeping: It's a hit or miss when requesting housekeeping. I've requested it 4x but housekeeping only stopped by 2x. They will give you a fresh bottle of water each time which is nice. But everything else may be inconsistent. When I arrived there were only 2 bath towels. First housekeeping gave me 2 bath towels and a hand towel. 2nd housekeeping took my hand towel away and didn't replace. She also used my shopping bag as a trash can bag. So it seems like they run out of materials. Location: location is kind of secluded from the city. It's great if you're looking for peace and quiet. But if you're looking for sightseeing or somewhere to walk around the city, you would have to catch a taxi (the one parked in the hotel are rip offs/they will charge you 4x as much). Make sure their meter works and is not covered. If it's covered, they are ripping you off, find another taxi.

Apartment was nice, with everything you'd expect. Lots of space for a good price and was comfortable. Breakfast buffet was big and hotel in which the restaurant was location, was stunning. Apartments portion of the hotel needs a bit of an update, but still was a good holiday.

Great experience
Service is great. Wifi is very strong, was able to stream netflix without interruption. Hotel has an indian restaurant that is surprisingly very good. Location is great, five minute drive or taxi ride to marsa. Staff is very friendly. The hotel could use a bit of updating but overall pretty comfortable. Would stay again.

Great hotel, in the middle of nowhere... although with taxi it is easy to go to La Marsa, or Sidi Bou Said, but on foot nothing is close

Few days in Tunis
I had a wonderful stay as he hotel was very clean and the service outstanding. I only wish the pub was open on a Monday but I understand everyone needs a day off. Highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent service and very affordable.
The hotel was excellent about arranging transportation from the hotel. The room was very large and well equipped, beautiful swimming pools and many dining options.

Relaxing hotel - but no wifi
The hotel is modern and comfortable. The staff are helpful. The food is good (breakfast and Calcutta restaurant). Fitness centre is good. But the stay was ruined by the wifi not working in the Residence room. So I would not stay (in Residence again). Also there was no kettle. No water was supplied and the shop was closed - so it was not possible to make a drink.

Disappointing
The Hotels.com web site places 5 stars against this hotel, which is a gross exaggeration. I may have been unlucky, but my room had far too many faults (lights not functioning, air conditioning control only partly functional, no water provided, door to patio unlockable, etc). Staff are charming, but don't seem too motivated to provide service (examples: nobody offers tea or coffee at breakfast....you have to go to ask, if you sit in the coffee area mid-morning, nobody comes to serve you...you have to go to ask). I get the feeling that this is a management problem rather than a staff problem. If higher standards were demanded by the bosses, the staff look willing enough to raise their game.....if some rooms were randomly inspected each day by the management and those responsible "gripped" if things aren't up to standard, then rooms would be of a higher standard. This hotel is most certainly NOT a 5 star hotel. I was disappointed by it and will not return.

Nice resort, apartments may need some work
Had a very nice stay, hotel staff were generally very friendly.Would have like to have seen more management of taxis allowed onsite. Apartments are 4* but need some work. Very few utensils were in my apartment and one cupboard had no bottom in it so was absolutely pointless!! Some small handyman jobs and very minor repairs would get this definitely into 4*, I'd suggest that the room I had was closer to a 3*. Housekeeping was generally thorough although noisy with a lot of shouting across apartment blocks to each other. I asked for the floor to be mopped when I arrived, as long hairs from a previous occupant were on bedroom and living room floor, but this was rectified very courteously. I would go back, it was nice to be able to use the hotel facilities, lovely pools, and a very safe area of Tunis and short cheap pop in a taxi down the hill into La Marsa (with meter!).

La piscine et le bar sont conforme à la description, mais la chambre de la résidence laisse a désirer..on m’a rajouté un lit d’appoint…le matelas était dehors dans un sale état, trace en tout genre et très abimé…je ne pensais pas que c’était pour ma chambre, canapé et fauteuil avec des trace de sang et de mégot ecrasé je ne retournerai jamais dans cette hotel..

La piscine, l'eau vraiment chaude. Mais les studios sont vraiment sommaires, en cours de rénovation, et c'est limite, même pour le prix demandé. Les chiens errants qui aboient la nuit près des logements sont désagréables. Le resto, cuisine indienne, est excellent.

J’ai réservé un appartement qui devais être 5 étoile J’ai était dessu de l’appartement le personnel à était au petit soins il mon changé l’appartement mes je trouve que c’est pas digne d’un 5 étoile l’es finition son pas top les murs son mal isolé on écoute tous ce que il ce passe chez le voisin la cuisine compter pas faire la cuisine les plaque son pas jeune et la cuisine manque pas mal de chose écrite sur le discreptif de hôtel.com Parcontr j’ai aimé le cadre le spa le personnel que je remercie tous de la réception jusqu’à au agent de sécurité tous top La restauration et top et variée Voilà ce que j’ai pu constaté je sais pas c est la chance d’avoir tomber sur cette appartement ou tous les appartements son comme cela
