We had a great stay! The rooms were large and very nice. The staff were lovely. The breakfast was great. The locations was good. Overall a perfect spot to stay and rest for a few days. The only complaint I have is the pillows were not very comfortable. It also may not be ideal if you want to be close to city centre. But it’s very close to the subway.

Huge room for the three of us. Nicely decorated!. Well located as we were using public transport. Restaurant within hotel - very good! Great staff and very helpful. Forgot passports, credit card, phone and train tickets in my purse! Called hotel and they had already recuperated my belongings. Went back to retrieve it and all was well !

Good hotel but a little far out if sightseeing
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Turin Corso Francia as an overnight stopover on our way to Tuscany. The hotel was easy to find and had covered parking underneath the hotel. The room was a good size, clean and had everything we required, We ate in the restaurant in the evening, and although the menu was a little limited, the food was good and the staff were excellent. The breakfast buffet was also excellent and our kids reported it was the “best they had ever had”, although I suspect this was largely due to the automatic pancake machine! The only downsides were that the hotel was quite far from the attractions in Turin and the cab rides were expensive to get there. Also it took about 20 minutes to pursuade the manager that according to the hotels website that kids should in fact eat for free.

Business Style Hotel
On check in the staff were not very polite or clear about adding my stay in the IHG Rewards programme. They also spoke " Matter of Fact " like about the faclities of the Hotel. The waitress at the Restaurant were also very straight faced, but all this was made up in the night when we had dinner there by a Male Staff Manager who was extremely service oriented and we liked the way he talked and made us feel comfortable.

The hotel appears relatively new, the room is clean and spacious, and the bed is comfortable as well. The breakfast buffet is decent...nothing fancy, but an adequate choice of typical continental breakfast items (baked goods, fruits, cereal, cheese, cold cuts, etc.) with scrambled egg and sausage/bacon as hot items. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area. It is a bit away from the City centre, but the metro station (Massaua) is just across the street, and then it's about a 20-min ride to the central areas of the City on its simple yet efficient metro system. I would definitely consider staying here again on my future visits to Turin, and would recommend this to others.

Horrible hotel experience
The hotel staff were very rude & unaccommodating. Upon checking in, we stood several minutes in front of counter & the staff in duty didn't even greet us & made us wait several minutes before attending to us! There were no othe people checking in! our booking was for 4 adults & we were given a king sized bed & a double deck bed which is good only for children. It was dangerous to use, it was an accident waiting to happen for adults to use it. Upon complaining, the staff even tried to put blame on us because we booked through a company that they said they didn't even know of! And that your company didn't specify we needed 4 beds! If they didn't have a quadruple accommodation, why did they accept our quadruple booking!? Why blame the guest for their inability to provide a quadruple accommodation? It would been handled better if they tried to solve the problem politely! They were rude and irritated with our complaint! The male staff even told my wife that 'we have been discussing for 10 minutes already ' and that he was 'now very angry!' Is this the way hotel staff should treat guests? For several days, we noticed that the staff didn't even bother to greet us with a good morning or evening! The front desk staff even ignore us! They just stare into their computers when we approach the desk & make us wait! No courtesy at all! Horrible first night! My wife had to insist that she will not let our adult family members use a double deck bed for kids, flimsy at that! The worst hotel experience! In this trip, we stayed at 6 hotels - all quadruple occupancies. We got a bed for each of us or 2 double beds, always! Twice, we were given 2 rooms. Only at this hotel did they expect 2 adults to use a double deck bed for children! We didn't book for 2 adults w/ 2 children! 4 ADULTS! Super rude staff! The bell boy was more courteous than the front desk staff!

Found my new home away from home in Torino
I really enjoyed my stay here! My bags did not arrive with me when I arrived in Milano, so upon arrival I asked the very friendly front desk person if there was somewhere nearby I could buy clothes and hygiene products. She provided me with some essentials, and suggested a few close-by options. Very helpful. Not only that, but they expedited my room, as I arrived a little bit before check-in time. When my bag finally arrived two days later, they delivered it to my room for me. Even though all of this may seem standard, or common courtesy, it felt that they went a little above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. The location was pretty great, too. Super close to the metro stop, and there was a great little pasticceria with perfect options for a quick breakfast (avoiding the pretty ridiculous 12 euro or whatever that the hotel wanted to charge) right down the road, as well as a grocery store for quick essentials, should you need them. My room was very comfortable and clean. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm around.
