Location: Nice eating place down the road, Resturante Urbani ... highly recommended
Handy location to the centre of Turin, nice walk around the old town. Beware, there are 2 stations in Turin ... you might arrive at the other one!

Uitstekende uitvalbasisPosted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: De gunstige ligging

Convenient locationPosted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Cons: The beds were a bit too firm, only one pillow each. Breakfast was limited choice, but adequate. The hot food, bacon bits and scrambled egg was cold.
Location: Historical city centre, main transport links and shopping all in walking distance. We visited the Turin Shroud and recommend the Basilica de Superga.
We stayed for 3 nights. It was centrally located, easy to find. The rooms are small and basic but adequate. Clean but dull. We were in the front on 3rd floor, and it was quiet.

La posizione dell'albergo è eccellente. Il costo rapportato ai sevizi. Da consigliare.

Wonderful, friendly hotelPosted May 31, 2015 on Hotels
Excellent customer service - wonderful, central location. Lovely, friendly atmosphere and food/wine was incredible, too. I cannot praise this hotel enough! Also, Turin sells itself short - one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen.

Old grand hotel in a declining neighborhoodPosted May 30, 2015
Pros: Staff, economical, close to train station
Cons: Need elevator Clean up the neighborhood
Location: Close to train stations and bus. I walked to see the Shroud and the Egyptian Museum (excellent). I took two buses. There are eateries all over and
My first surprise was the 18 (?) steps to climb to get to my floor. I was not in the main building but 'out back'. There needs to be an elevator. Breakfast was ample. The staff were exceptional and they helped me with every question. The neighborhood is a bit run down. The hotel was #7; church for me every evening was at #25. There were hoardes of men, both sides of the street loitering every evening so that I often walked in the street. Their presence and drinking beer sometimes was a bit threatening for me, an unwelcome risk. The police need a greater presence here and loitering curtailed or the hotels will suffer. Already I saw empty storefronts. Amazing but in two blocks in the other direction, there are many upscale stores. This location was perfect otherwise because most areas of interest to me were walkable. My accommodations were a bargain and I was close to everything.

Good basic hotel in good locationPosted May 22, 2015 on Hotels
Spent two nights in Turin and wanted to be close to the train station, this hotel fills the bill. The rooms are more than adequate, although not very large, and the service/staff was efficient. Breakfast was pretty standard but well laid out. there isa lining room/bar that we took advantage of since we were two couples and the rooms were not large enough for visiting. Very nice value for the price and convenient to all the museums and sights we wanted to visit.
