NH lingottto Congress

Only stayed 1 night in February but the old Fiat factory is vastly interesting, real industrial and economic history. Get a key to the roof test track from Reception. Easy ride into central Turin on Metro.

Unique Hotel !

Posted Jan 2, 2017 on Orbitz
Great rooms. There is no hotel like this in the world. It was Fiat factory and it turned into mega hotel/shopping center. You will experience something different than conventional hotels. I loved it.

Iconic building

Posted Sep 16, 2016
Pros: Outside garden. Large spacious and light bedrooms. Shopping mall within building complex. History of building. Variety of food at breakfast.
Cons: Breakfast times on Sundays to be made clearer. In rooms it says it is till 12 noon however this is not in the restaurant which finishes at 11.00am.
Location: Great location for easy walking access to Metro. Simple Metro system with simple access to city centre. Plenty of places of interest. Fab shops.
Really enjoyed staying here. History of building and Turin fascinating. Could have stayed longer. Cheap metro. Architecture fabulous, loved the colonnades which keep you dry in the rain and cool in the heat. Beautiful piazzas and arcades. People think this city is not for tourists because it's an urban city. This city is a must and would highly recommend a visit. Choose time of year to visit wisely. I went for 5 nights in early September and there was a heat wave. Fab ice cream! and lots of lovely treats to bring home including chocolates for foodie fans.

Fab for a car nut

Posted Sep 13, 2016
Pros: Everything !!!
Cons: In hotels in the UK there is normally a guide about local attractions & info eg doctors, taxis, recommended restaurants - this would be useful.
Location: Ideal location for Turin city centre, few stops on the metro. Car museum within walking distance. Fiat museum very good but only open Sunday's - free!
Booked this hotel for its Fiat history, birthday present for my husband who is car mad. Hotel is absolutely amazing, spotlessly clean. All staff were polite and helpful - special note to thank Vincenzio & Ivano in the restaurant who not only looked after us fantastically well but entertained us also !! But all the reception staff spoke perfect English and were really helpful given advice about getting out and about. A trip to the rooftop test track for any Italian Job fan or car enthusiast is a must and well worth the trip with spectacular views over Turin.
