First time in Alabama so i did not know this establishment was worse than a motel 6. I think i would have been safer at a motel 7. There was handprints and blood on our bed and walls. I thought it was a joke at first. It’s the worse place i have ever stayed at. It was only for one night because we left the second night. I would not ever come back- even if it was free. The establishment was worse the one can imagine. Roaches, blood on wall, handprints on bed, holes on wall, fridge was leaking. And when we walked outside - someone offered to pay for sex. I nearly ran home.

The hotel is obviously old and not very well kept. However, it was the only hotel that was close to being affordable for a football weekend. We weren't in the room that much, so it was fine. The area ain't great...

The staff was nice however the room was horrible. The floors and walls were filthy. The towels were stained. The toilet was running after every flush. The tv was tiny and didn’t work at first. When I went to call room service, the phone was broken and didn’t work. The staff quickly fixed the tv so at least that was good. Oh and no blow dryer. Totally unsatisfactory especially for the price I paid to stay there. NEVER AGAIN!

Awful conditions - not sanitary at all
There was a roach and hairs in the bathtub and the freezer was absolutely disgusting. I would not recommend this hotel and if we had other options, we would have switched. We paid $275 for our stay - definitely not worth it.

The sheets and the blanket / cover had stains and holes in them the mattress was not comfortable at all it had a slant in the middle so we both rolled to the middle every time also the bathroom ceiling has mildew/mold coming up also the shower curtain was ripped and needs to be replaced so does all the pillows on the bed the pool was not opened nor even able to sit out by the pool nor would you feel comfortable to sit outside I felt like I was in one of those Lifetime Movies about being kidnapped and trafficking! Will not recommended this place! Especially if you have kids you will be disappointed!!!

The room had a horrible smell. We had to go to buy plug-ins and fabreeze spray. Cigarette burns on the blanket. Hand towels had stains on them. Unless you’re homeless or you absolutely no other choice, don’t stay at this hotel. I had stay in an Econo Lodge in Bristol, TN the week prior and it was immaculate compared to this place. Obviously it’s up to the owner to take care of it’s property; this owner doesn’t care

It is a good value. It's a very basic hotel that is clean and has some updates. It was not that far from the campus and close to the interstate. The staff was very nice and helpful

Room was so dirty. The floors were filthy. The beds were saggy. The sheets had holes in them. the pillows were badly stained. The towels and bath cloths were thin and ragged. One towel had a hole so big my husband's head got caught in it. I wish it wasn't the only facility we could find with an available room for the Bama game. We aren't accustomed to staying in such a place. But it is what it is...

This hotel is in a good location and is ok! It has gotten some bad reviews but the people that I dealt with were nice and my stay was no different than any other place I’ve stayed except a lot CHEAPER!!!!

Don't waste your money on this filthy hotel! I checked in for a night my son was graduating in Tuscaloosa on Friday. I made the reservation in January even then most hotels were booked. This one had a little more resonance rate and decent reviews which is why I ended up picking it. Huge mistake!!! We got in the room and immediately noticed it smelled horrible and the floors were dirty. We were running late due to traffic so I took my clothes and bag in and went straight to bathroom to change. I looked around and saw it clearly wasn't clean. Then my son calls out to me from the bedroom and says mom come look at bed. I walk in to see the beds looked dirty but thought it was all just holes and cigarette burns. We pulled the covers back ro look at sheeets and they were filthy. I'm not talking a speck of dirt. It made me want to vomit their were stains on the sheets and dirty stuff all in the sheets like if you emptied a dust pan that's what you would see. It was awful. Called desk tbe lady said she would change me to different room. I asked for refund she refused. She said I will change you to a different room but that's it. I didn't want to be there but thought I would atleast try. Went to second room and it was just as bed the employee who worked there and gave me key walked in with me and his face when we pulled the sheets back was like mine. I don't even know how this trash hotel stays in business. It obviously has no standards for cleaning. I'm still trying to get refund!!

Hotels.com did disclose that this was a smoking room, however the smell of stale cigarette smoke mixed with whatever air freshener they used was atrocious. There were cigarette burns in the comforters and the overall look of the room was dirty. My family refused to stay there. The pics on Hotels.com made the place look a lot better than it was.

You get what you pay for.
Room was fairly clean. A cockroach did run out from under the bed when the lights were turned on when we first walked in. The room or actually the sofa reeked of smoke though it was non-smoking. Maybe they confused marijuana smoking and cigarette smoking. The outside is painted and looks nice. Well lit outside. Bed was comfortable. You get what you pay for.

Shower was so dirty that i couldn’t us it. Mold and pubic hairs were on the walls. Hand prints on the mini fridge and it looked like the only thing that had been cleaned was the bed sheets.

Hotel is very old, holes in floor and on walls, no stopper in tub so wife had to crab wash rag in drain to hold water, vanity should have been replaced years ago . Bed was ok but nothing special . For $175.00 a night it should have been much better, but Bama was playing Tenn in Tuscaloosa. Be regular rate is less than $60

TV did not work, door was open when we arrived. Only two thin pillows on each bed, rooms humid. Then to top it off, picked up a hand full of screws in parking lot behind my car, they were all over parking lot. One ended up in my tire. Front desk did not care at all, not even a sorry.
