Staff was very friendly. Room is very tired. Not enough outlets in room. Built in outlets on lamps did not all work. Lightbulbs horrible brightness. Chair at desk all worn/torn. Carpet appears dingy. Bathroom was clean and somewhat updated but very small. Beds were clean and comfortable.

The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Located on University of Alabama's beautiful campus.

The hotel was wonderful. Very clean, the staff were very friendly and happy to help. The location is wonderful. I would love to stay there again.

Very convenient to the Bryant Conference Center. Great to walk around the campus for exercise. On-site restaurant had very good food, especially at breakfast. Must make sure you have your USB chargers since there are no lamps or outlets that have the USB plug integrated. No big deal but be aware.

Wonderful hotel on campus of University of Alabama. Friendly and welcoming staff. Huge lobby. Full service bar and very good restaurant. Safe area. Only one complaint. How slick the shower floor becomes when wet.

We've stayed here a couple of times now over the past 8 years of two different kids enrolled at UA. Sadly, this place is so rough around the edges for the price. Of course, the location makes it almost worth it. One look at the vents in the bathroom and by the room door is cringe-worthy with a layers of dust bunnies hanging down. They are filthy. The bedding is flimsy and the place just feels worn out. We won't be staying here again.

You stay here for the location. The beds are also comfortable. The decor is dated. The room was not very clean. When we checked in, our door was being held open by the trash can. All of the drawers were left open and the ac was turned all the way down to 50. The room was freezing and it took us 30 minutes or so to get a temp to where it was tolerable to be in the room.

Excellent condition especially considering the age of the building. Cannot afford it during football season but it is perfect for basketball, baseball, softball games!

Worst hotel I have been the service rude nothing else to say only I will never hopefully has to be here again . They give me another room that the one I booked and tell me we are sorry we don’t have the room .

This hotel is in a great location if you’re visiting UA. The bar is small, but the bartender is friendly, and the drinks are good. The hotel is very clean, and the staff is friendly. Our room was very nice. The only downside was the shower water pressure which was unacceptably poor. We did not report the issue, so there was no corrective action required. We were able to make it work. I would stay here again.

The 2 young girls who checked us in were AMAZING! Their names are Makayla and Madeline. They were super helpful and answered all of our questions. They went above and beyond! The manager was great as well! I can’t remember her name, but wonderful! They are the big reason why I booked there again! We love Capstone!
