Bad location, tired old hotel

Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: Everything. It is a dump
Location: Very sketchy area
Websites clearly say pet friendly. THEY ARE NOT. Prepaid room, they denied access and refused to refund.

Not a good choice!

The air conditioning made noise all night and blew onto the bed from 10' away; the fan could not to be adjusted to a low setting; there was no hot water; the door know to the bathroom was broken; the toilet was clogged with a coffee cup! While there was coffee/tea service but only 1 cup in the room and the coffee was terrible! The staff offered a different room but it was very small wth the a-c while more quiet even closer to the bed and the highway was along side of the room so still too much noise!

an Ok. stay

The hotel is a little far away from downtown . The breakfast that was included was very basic as well as the service. The rooms were nice and clean. There are better hotels in Tuxtla for about the same price.

Poor customer service

It was okay, but he hotel staff was not accommodating. We had an early flight but they wouldn't allow us to get our "free breakfast" until after 7 a.m. Also, the free breakfast was just bread and juice, nothing more.

Quality Inn Tuxla

The hotel staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. They made our stay very pleasant. Everything was sparkling clean. Walk to downtown is 20 minutes. The OCC bus station is a short walk from the hotel. A real plus. A very good place to stay for the price.

A functional stop

We used it only to break the journey. It was difficult to find, and in a very ordinary area. The hotel is a perfectly acceptable business hotel, with adequate facilities, but no charm.

A pleasant stay in Tuxtla

This hotel is right near the ADO bus station. It's about 400m from the bus station so you can definitely walk to it. That said, the people working at the hotel seem a bit clueless. When we arrived at the hotel all they would do is look at us and wonder how to process the check in. They finally managed to get it done and gave us a room with two double beds. There is a bar on the top floor of the hotel and it plays REALLY loud music. If your room is anywhere above the 5th floor, prepare to sleep poorly. The rooms however are very comfortable. We ordered room service and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. The airconditioning is good, the rooms have a full glass wall so there is tons of light during the day. The wirelesss internet is fast and reliable. The elevators are very slow and on the day of checkout they were out of service so we had to lug our bags all the way down. There is a small gym which has a few dumbbells, treadmill, stair climber, and a multi-gym machine. There's also a big barbell with some weights. Breakfast is quite lame. They do have a good spread but you have to pay extra to get it. What you get included in the room rate is some cornflakes, coffee, bread, and some fresh fruits. Overall we had a pleasant stay as the rooms are very nice, bathrooms are nice and spacious and clean, and the internet is good. The staff could use a bit of improvement but we were always able to get what we want. They do not however speak any english so please be aware of that.
