Clean and cute in Joshua treePosted Aug 22, 2015
Nice grounds with a pool and hot tub. Clean rooms and peaceful environment despite the fact that it is right off 29 palms road.

"Ash," who owns and runs the motel, is attentive to every detail! Great place to stay.

LiebevollPosted May 26, 2015

The Perfect Dive HotelPosted May 26, 2015 on Hotels
Harmony is one of my favorite places to stay while seeing the Joshua Tree National Park. There are no frills except the pool & hotub. I enjoy the size, privacy, & landscaping of the hotel. The shower is tiny & has no light, there is no bathroom fan, the walls are paper thin, & the window blinds are horrible, but the ac works, the kitchette is adequate, the ceiling fan works, and the shared kitchen is stocked & useful. The owner, Ash, has been there for some time now and has built up enough business to hire help. I'll always stay at Harmony and I think there are many return guests who feel the same way. It's a dive but it's quaint, affordable, clean, private, and has a pool & a hotub. In essence, this hotel has a following of return guests who have Harmony in their hearts.

A fun, quirky, and friendly little placePosted May 2, 2015 on Hotels
Having stayed at nearly a dozen hotels & motels during a two-week road trip across the desert southwest & up the central California coast, I can say with certainty that the Harmony Motel was my favorite. The place looks like a dive from he road but the courtyard, pool, and room were all very pleasant & well-tended. It's a quirky and offbeat place--perhaps not to everyone's taste--but I really enjoyed my night there, and I wish I could have carried the whole motel along during my entire trip.

No frillsPosted Apr 24, 2015
You get what you pay for. The room was adequate but not overly appointed. The very small tv functioned well. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were a few trim molding pieces missing but that goes with the overly appointed comment above. There was a nice looking pool and hot tub but the whether wasn't warm enough to use either of them. There was a lot of traffic noise due to it's being close to the highway and on a hill that requires acceleration of vehicles. It is close enough to Joshua Tree park to be a good place to spend a night.

Quiet getawayPosted Apr 18, 2015 on Hotels
Just what I wanted. A quiet time alone in a place that was not a chain hotel. Just perfect. Nearby hiking. Food etc

Bra läge ok standardPosted Apr 6, 2015 on Hotels
Anonymt motel med en cool historia. U2 ska ha bott här de skrev plattan med samma namn, JoshuaTree. Bra standard men inget speciellt. Extra plus för att vi fick bada i poolen efter utcheckning.
