    5/5 Excellent

I loved everything. It was beautiful and very relaxing. Our room was lovely and sitting out on the veranda at night to stargaze was amazing. Pappy and Harriets was a wonderful place to eat and socialise. Food was great. I would go back to Pioneertown today if I could!

You should do yourself a favor and stay here if you are going to see some live music at Pappy & Harriet's. It just adds to the whole experience of what you go to P&H's for. You really feel like you are out in the middle of nowhere (which you are), but in a great way. It's beautiful. I love this place. It's super unique. I've never stayed anywhere like it. It's very well done and even though there aren't a lot of amenities, it doesn't need them. You've just got to see it for yourself. It's definitely not a 5-star kind of place, but it has character that few places have and they keep the details and the grounds immaculate. even though it's all dirt. it really brings out the beauty of the desert. I recommend the hammocks at night. The stars are amazing out there. It's a lot of fun, which is why we keep coming back. Walk to P&H's have a drink and have some GREAT food, watch some great live music and stumble back to the motel, grab the camping chairs out of the closet in you room, or lay in a hammock and watch the stars before heading off to bed. It really is a lot more amazing than I'm making it sound, but it's one of mine and my wife's favorite places to visit. It seems kind of pricey for what it is, but it's worth every penny.

    Close to the stars

Above all my expectations. A paradise in the desert. Please, keep it the way it is.
