“We always stay here when we travel to Tybee. We have tried the other hotel behind Tybee (Hotel Tybee) and we prefer Sandcastle Inn much more. It’s an older hotel as they all are there but it is clean and the staff is top notch. They don’t have an elevator so if you require one definitely ask for handicap accessible room. It’s about a 3 min walk to the beach and it’s very conveniently located walking distance to Tybrisa street. They have an outdoor pool that is well kept as well. ”

“The staff here is top notch! They communicated via text to welcome us and let us know to advise them of any needs. Addie is amazing! She did a great job with answering our questions and checking on us throughout the stay. The grounds are extremely clean. They do an excellent job of maintaining the building also ans cleaning the rooms. Everything about this place is top notch! In fact, this was our 2nd stay. We loved it so much the first time we were here a weekend ago, that we decided to come……

“We were up all night because the room smelled of paint. The building was undergoing renovations. To combat the smell, we kept all the windows open. Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach customer service because it’s automated, and you never speak to a real person. It was the worst experience. I’ve switched to the Heritage hotel, but I can’t say it’s any better. In fact, it’s probably worse. There’s construction scaffolding, and it’s incredibly loud. I’m disappointed with Marriott.”

“Room is old, bathtub is rusted, caulking around toilet was black. The room smells like no one lives in it for a while. While it rained, the water overflow to the door. The only pleasant thing was the staff was really nice and helpful. I don't think I will go back again unless they make some improvement”

“Ocean was not visible but, they have a pool, breakfast in the morning. Staff were very kind, would definitely recommend and would definitely return here! ”

“Clean, friendly, great breakfast and pet friendly. A little bit of a walk to the beach, the pictures make it look like it's on the beach but it's about a mile walk.”

“The room was clean and large, but otherwise vastly outdated. Overall, for the money, I would recommend recommend renting a VRBO for the price, as the elevator sounded like it was going to break...the ice machine was broken on two floors, it was Masters week and the tv's in the outs bar were also broken. The property is very dated and feels old. This hotel is in need of a major overhaul- I believe they should knock down one half and rebuild and do the same with the other side the following……
