A horrible experience!

Firstly the hotel is located very far from the center. It is situated on the farthest side of the north lake of the city which is 15' ride by car, which would be acceptable if the hotel quality was good.
Secondly the hotel building is very poorly maintained from the outside. Many windows look broken, walls not maintained and generally none of the areas look like the pictures.
The room upon check-in was unacceptably dirty. As soon as we entered the bathroom we found hair on the toilet seat as well as urine stains. The towels even if they had been washed had yellow stains. The shower curtain was very dirty with black spots and the bed sheets had black dirt on them. The duvet cover was not washed or changed and the idea that you would sleep on covers that someone else slept was not pleasant.. Also one pillow was standing up and the other was laying down, giving the impression that the bed was not done. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom and had to ask for it.
The hotel staff were all in very dirty clothes, dirty hands and generally unwashed outfit, even the ones on housekeeping duties, which also makes you doubt the hygiene standards. Only one person was speaking properly English.
Finally this hotel at the moment of booking, had a mid-range rate, excluding breakfast and without repayment upon cancelation. Those conditions were outrageous considering the quality. Especially when in the center of Udaipur there is an unlimited choice of hotels in much better condition, in lower rates.
