The manager that communicated with us was not the one whose contact information was sent to me. He wasn’t able to get us the bicycles as planned, and he said it is a change in management and no longer a service. He wanted us to clean the house before leaving, but we told him that only taking out trash and washing dishes was required. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer, Matratzen und Bettwäsche war Tadellos. Obwohl im Ortskern, fühlt sich die Lage etwas abgelegen an, da es bis auf ein paar Restaurants und einige Weinstuben im Ort keine Geschäfte mehr gibt. Den Parkplatz an der Mosel mussten wir zwischendurch räumen, da er durch ein Hochwasser überschwemmt wurde. Wohl bereits zum 4\. Mal in diesem Jahr. (Achten Sie auf Bauarbeiter, die Schilder, Automaten und Ähnliches abbauen. Oder befragen Sie die Einheimischen. Das Wasser steigt binnen eines Tages und ist dann genau so schnell wieder weg.) Das Objekt ist alt und weist einige Schäden auf. Viele Reparaturen wurden nur notdürftig durchgeführt. Wir hatten einige ausgefallene Lampen, 2 abfallende Türklinken, eine nicht festgeschraubte Toilette, einen mit Klebeband reparierten Abgang der Toilette und eine Duschtür ohne Aufhängung. Nichts Katastrophales, aber etwas, dass man bei Verteilung und Bezug der Zimmer beachten sollte. Der Inhaber war immer telefonisch erreichbar. Kühlschrank, Herd und Sofa sind neu. Besteck, Geschirr und Töpfe vorhanden. Gläser etwas knapp, aber dank Spülmaschine reicht es. Wer kochen will, sollte evtl. ein paar zusätzliche Kochutensilien mitbringen. Insgesamt sind wir sehr zufrieden. Zu diesem Preis hatten wir auch kein Nobelhotel erwartet. Es bietet keinen Luxus und die Küchenausstattung ist nicht ideal (Küchenmesser und Schneidebrettchen am besten mitbringen), aber die 9 Schlafzimmer mit eigenen Bädern sind praktisch und die zwei großen Aufenthaltsräume bieten viele Möglichkeiten. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr gut als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Radtouren und Ausflüge nach Bernkastel-Kues und Traben-Trabach.
