The manager that communicated with us was not the one whose contact information was sent to me. He wasn’t able to get us the bicycles as planned, and he said it is a change in management and no longer a service. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer, Matratzen und Bettwäsche war Tadellos. Obwohl im Ortskern, fühlt sich die Lage etwas abgelegen an, da es bis auf ein paar Restaurants und einige Weinstuben im Ort keine Geschäfte mehr gibt. Den Parkplatz an der Mosel mussten wir zwischendurch räumen, da er durch ein Hochwasser überschwemmt wurde. Wohl bereits zum 4\. Mal in diesem Jahr. (Achten Sie auf Bauarbeiter, die Schilder, Automaten und Ähnliches abbauen. Oder befragen Sie die Einheimischen. Das Wasser steigt binnen eines Tages und ist dann genau so schnell wieder weg.) Das Objekt ist alt und weist einige Schäden auf. Viele Reparaturen wurden nur notdürftig durchgeführt. Wir hatten einige ausgefallene Lampen, 2 abfallende Türklinken, eine nicht festgeschraubte Toilette, einen mit Klebeband reparierten Abgang der Toilette und eine Duschtür ohne Aufhängung. Nichts Katastrophales, aber etwas, dass man bei Verteilung und Bezug der Zimmer beachten sollte. Der Inhaber war immer telefonisch erreichbar. Kühlschrank, Herd und Sofa sind neu. Besteck, Geschirr und Töpfe vorhanden. Gläser etwas knapp, aber dank Spülmaschine reicht es. Wer kochen will, sollte evtl. ein paar zusätzliche Kochutensilien mitbringen. Insgesamt sind wir sehr zufrieden. Zu diesem Preis hatten wir auch kein Nobelhotel erwartet. Gesamtbewertung nur 4 Sterne, aber Top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! ##### Michael B. Es bietet keinen Luxus und die Küchenausstattung ist nicht ideal (Küchenmesser und Schneidebrettchen am besten mitbringen), aber die 9 Schlafzimmer mit eigenen Bädern sind praktisch und die zwei großen Aufenthaltsräume bieten viele Möglichkeiten. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr gut als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Radtouren und Ausflüge nach Bernkastel-Kues und Traben-Trabach. Wir waren nun einige Autos, die in den engen Straßen campten, in der Hoffnung ausladen zu können und von den netten Einheimischen darauf aufmerksam gemacht wurden, dass sich die "Knöllchenschreiber" genau darauf in diesem Ort spezialisiert zu haben schienen. In einem letzten Versuch, schrieben wir eine Email und bekamen kurze Zeit später die Rückantwort, dass man in 20 Minuten da wäre und uns Schlüssel brächte. Ich hatte in einigen Rezessionen gelesen, dass die Endreinigung und die Bettwäsche direkt, bar und ohne Quittung gezahlt werden musste. Auf einen lahmen Versuch meinerseits eine Quittung zu bekommen, wurde mir von der Reinigungsdame, die geschickt wurde uns aufzuschließen dann erklärt, dass das immer so wäre. Hm, ja klar. Wir waren ehrlich gesagt nur froh ins warme zu kommen und da wären wir eigentlich auch beim ersten Pluspunkt an diesem Objekt. Die Heizung hat gut funktioniert. Der zweite Pluspunkt war der große Aufenthaltsraum. Dann kommen wir auch schon zum Negativen: Das Haus ist eine fürchterlich abgeranzte Bude. Das liebevoll errichtete und einst sicherlich auch geführte Haus, ist in einem unglaublich verwahrlosten Zustand. Man weiß gar nicht, wo man anfangen soll. Das ganze Haus stinkt, da anscheinend nicht regelmäßig die Abflüsse und Toilettengespült werden. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein Gemeinschafts-WC mit Urinalen. Dort kann Keiner drauf, weil es unmöglich ist dort Luft zu holen. Der größte Teil des Inventars ist kaputt. Zimmertüren kann man nicht abschließen. WC´s in den Zimmern sind teilweise mit Eimer darunter, weil sie tropfen. Die Duschen schimmeln. Mein Schwiegervater hatte beim Betten abziehen (ja richtig, die Betten müssen abgezogen werden -laut Hausordnung- trotz bezahlter Endreinigung) noch eine CD und andere Sachen gefunden. Soweit zur Qualität der Endreinigungen. In jedem Zimmer funktioniert wenn überhaupt nur eine Nachttischlampe. Das mit den Glühlampen scheint ein allgemeines Problem zu sein in dem Haus. Im Treppenhaus befindet sich vom ersten in den zweiten Stock kein einziger Lichtschalter. Das ist gar nicht witzig, wenn man voll bepackt ist. In der Küche gab es die eigentliche Krönung. Der Herd ist super und neuer als der Rest der Einrichtung.
