"The hosts, Anne and Billy, messaged us beforehand with helpful recommendations on places to visit in Skye, which was much appreciated. The accommodation had everything we needed – it was clean, tidy, and very welcoming. The views from both the bedroom and living room windows were absolutely beautiful. Fairy Glen was just a few minutes’ drive away and definitely worth a visit. We stopped at the Co-op in Portree for some food, but found it quite expensive. Rankin’s, which was only a few minutes from where we were staying, is a better option in our opinion—I'd recommend shopping there instead. Just a heads-up: since the accommodation is out in the countryside, the lane leading up to it has quite a few potholes, so take care when driving."
