Lovely, convenient and spacious apartmentPosted Aug 13, 2017
Cons: See above
Location: Quiet location but not far to walk to sights and restaurants.
We loved our hotel, it was really convenient and there was lots of rom for the four of us. It was a bonus having two bathrooms and the washing machine. The station is just 5 minutes walk away and there is an Aldi around the corner to allow easy self catering. Air con was effective, even though we experienced a heat wave for most of the stay. Just one issue, the sofa was not ever so comfortable and another easy chair would have been better.

Lovely quiet hotelPosted Jun 3, 2017
A little further out from the centre than thought. However, it is walkable for the fit and an easy hop on the metro ( just round the corner) for all the sights. Would definitely use this hotel again. Breakfast was pricey but excellent quality we had this on the first morning. The room had a mini kitchen hidden in a cupboard so was able to easily make something. Excellent

Nice but not perfectPosted Jan 9, 2017 on Hotels
The Adina Apartments were nice. The hotel's pool and spa were very nice with good hours of operation. The were clean (but some of the top bedding was stained). The room was a great size (studio), but there were a few down sides. The noise from the road outside was very loud at times, and the location was far further than expected. But it is close to the metro which can easily access the city centre. The temperature in the room is hard to get right, but in the warmer months it may not be as much of a problem. The little kitchenette was very handy and well stocked. There is an Adli supermarket across the road which was very handy and useful.

4 Days in BudapestPosted Jan 5, 2017
Check in was strange. Arrived from UK and discovered had booked the wrong dates. As the hotel had availability, no problem. Quoted us an elevated rate and we decided to book online. We booked and showed the confirmation but waited 40 mins or so till the hotel received confirmation. Went to check in and then were told the booking was for 2 not 3. We explained that we did not want an extra bed or bedding and that our child would just sleep in the same bed. We were informed that we could not and rules were rules. We explained that the 5 minute old booking was non refundable. They told us to prove to them that it said the room could sleep 3. We went over the point the 3rd person was our child and did not need another bed but if there was an additional cost we would pay. They told us we had to do this with the booking company. At that point we explained that it was a no cancellation policy. I asked to speak to a manager and was told there was not one on duty. Eventually they gave in and let us stay when the reservation staff member over ruled her. The reason im writing this is because it was actually a very nice hotel/apartment. Great spa and fitness facilities and the rest of the staff helpful and friendly. One staff member can ruin an experience for a visitor and whilst we had messed up it is at times like these when you appreciate a helpful and understanding staff member. The staff member at reception was certainly not that.

Fantastic base to explore an amazing city.Posted Dec 18, 2016
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel, we stayed for 4 nights during our time in budapest. It's in an ideal location on the pest side and about 5 minutes walk to the nearest metro which will get you all around the beautiful city with ease. The hotel facilities are of a high standard, the rooms are spacious, modern clean arena comfortable arendnd quiet despite its location. The staff are really lovely and couldn't help enough, we used the room service meals which were brought in from their sister restaurant and the food was really good and arrived quickly. Ideal arendndndfter arendndndfter busy day exploring budapest. The breakfast was also good with a good range of food from cereals, cold meats, cheeses, bread and fruit and yogurts. I would definitely stay here again we both loved it here.

Nice apartment has all that you needPosted Dec 12, 2016
Was traveling with my daughter and my 2 year granddaughter so needed to accommodate little one needs. Was able to cook with fully equipped kitchen. Place was very quite even though it was fully booked. Good location. Less than 10 from metro, 2 minutes from supermarket. Not many local eateries near the Adina. Granddaughter unfortunate wasn't well one night but staff were helpful and cleaned up the apartment and changed the sheets whilst we were out. Would have given 5 stars but indoor pool was so cold it wasn't useable - and that wasn't just our opinion. The pool is staffed and looks lovely but what is the point of a pool if guest staying can't use it.

great rooms but safety concernsPosted Dec 12, 2016 on Hotels
2 night mid week stay in December. First time stayed here but I wouldn't choose to stay at Adina again. Maybe it was the dark nights but as a sole female traveller I didn't feel safe in the neighborhood or from the looks I got from male guests sitting in hotel reception 24/7. I saw the hotel reception guy taking what appeared to be a bribe/reward from a taxi driver of a taxi he had ordered for a guest which didn't add to my confidence. All that aside, the rooms are huge, well equipped, clean and bright, and were good value for money.
