Good place to spend the night

Cons: Wish people on the floor above walked quieter in the morning!
Location: There is a restaurant next door called Crush that is excellent, but relatively expensive.
At check in, there were chocolate chip cookies and ice water. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable and breakfast was good. Couldn't ask for much more.

I checked in on Saturday evening, July 30, and the clerk was super friendly and helpful. She gave me good tips on what sites to visit. She is a great gal!

Best Breakfast

We were checked-in by a very friendly receptionist, who was very helpful in suggesting a place to have dinner. Our room was very spacious with 2 queen beds and a large flat-screen TV. Everything seemed clean, except for some stains on the carpet. The best feature of this hotel is the breakfast. From all places we stayed in on our trip, this place actually served home-cooked eggs, bacon, sausage, and biscuit & gravy as part of their breakfast buffet. Everything was well seasoned, the biscuits still warm, and the scrabbled eggs were made from real eggs and not out of a carton. Overall, very friendly and welcoming staff.

Poor customer relations

Asked for late checkout (between 12:30-1:00) due to one of our party had only car out of town for meeting. At 7:30am front desk person indicated reluctant approval. Myself, I had work at office just down the street, from hotel, and would return by 1pm. My partner returned from out town meeting by 11:15, to room to shower, rest until my arrival. A second front desk person called room and told partner to vacate room and had no info approval was granted. I returned at 12:45. Went to front desk to ask both front desk workers what happened. The person that granted approval to me, then to my face said he did not recall giving me approval for late checkout. Extremely poor customer relations, and I will not be staying at this location for my monthly work in this area. I told both workers this, along with telling them I would pass this scenario to my Co workers. They both seemed genuinely unconcerned.
