Convenient and roomy.

Posted Aug 27, 2015
Pros: The quiet location, and the very spacious room.
Cons: The property could do with a freshen up. Dust and dead leaves on the balcony needed sweeping and the glass doors were grubby.
Location: The Ian Thorpe Swimming Pool, the Powerhouse Museum, and Darling Harbour are all within strolling distance.
My wife and I stayed overnight to attend the opening night performance of "Matilda" at the Lyric Theatre at the Star Casino. Being close to the tram line, halfway between the city and the Casino, Aspire proved especially convenient. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we were particularly impressed by the spacious room and the pleasant, leafy surroundings. Our room was situated at the back of the property so although there was no view, it was pleasantly quiet. Next morning we went for a stroll around the historic area, before checking out. we'll certainly be looking for another opportunity to stay at this delightful property.

Spacious and comfortable rooms. Showing its age but at this price point still good value. The large bathroom is a bonus. The rooms have balconies but there's not much to see and if you have two air conditioning units on it, not much room either. Hotel is close to Darling Harbour, Central station and UTS if these things interest you. At the right pricing deal I will be staying here again.

Close to the Central Station.

Posted Aug 2, 2015
Pros: The hotel and its surrounding was quiet, but at the same time it was close to Central Station, Chinatown, Darling Harbour, etc.
Cons: The place is old and the sound of the elevator could be heard from our bedroom.
Location: You can almost do anything and go anywhere anytime by simply walking to the Central Station.
We stayed for 6 days in Sydney and purchased a 7-day Multi Pass3 for AUD65.00 that could get you on the bus, train, light rail and ferry. Fr the Central Station, which was just a 10-minute walk fr the hotel, we took the train to the Blue Mountains, the bus and ferry going to Bondi and Manly Beach, the light rail to the Sydney Opera House, the Circular Quay, etc. We had a dinner or two at the Sydney Darling Harbour. From the hotel, we walked to the Town Hall, the Queen Victoria Building and the Capitol Theater, to watch a matinee of the Les Miserables.

Cheap but Convenient location

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: We purchased a cheap bed for two nights that is located between excellent shops, Uni and entertainment.
Cons: Greater attention to cleaning and enough towels/pillows for guests would be great. Time to renew beds..
Room key continually failed, neighbours very noisy late return, garage door failing to open, kettle didn't work and replaced with untagged kettle and the lack of cleaning all added to an overall disappointing stay this time.

Nice hotel near the Cbd

Posted Jul 8, 2015
Pros: The good location and the room was really clean .
Location: It's close to the central station and there is plenty of restaurant and even a shop center like 10 mn walking from there
We spent 2 nights at this hotel . We choosed it for the rates and the locations. It's really close to the central station. There is the free Wifi and you can use 2 pc for free at the reception of the hotel . The people from the reception was nice and the room was really clean ! We were supposed to stay only one night and finally we spent 2 nights up there. the only this that I can say that was a bit annoying is maybe the thinghtening of the wall because you can ear when there is people in the corridor .

OK Hotel close to the city

Posted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: Cheap.
Cons: Lifts and car parking facilities need definite upgrading
Location: Darling harbour, Chinatown, Casino all within walking distance
Simple room, basic enough amenities, needs to be brought into the 21st century by adding more power outlets.

Comfortable accommodation -convenient

Posted Jun 20, 2015
Pros: Well appointed room. Good value for money
Cons: Cooked fried eggs at Breakfast rather than scrambled eggs that did not look like eggs and upgrade the cutlery. Cheap cutlery.
Location: The location was good for my purpose of being in Sydney.
Good quality accommodation close to where I needed to be in Sydney
