Decent hotel but a little run down

Pros: Pool and rooms were nice.
Cons: Take maintenance reports seriously. Get better wifi
Location: Uluru and the trips we did were fantastic.
The hotel is nice but there were several minor issues. Our phone in the room didn't work the entire 3 days and after 3 times reporting it and being told someone would come to fix it, with no one ever coming, we gave up reporting it. Our luggage was delayed on the flight and when it was delivered to the hotel they did not notify us. Several hours after it was due we went to the front desk to find out yes our bags had been waiting. Restaurant and Bar are nice but overpriced. Wifi was hit or miss.

Great location, staff, amenities and services

Pros: Most as per above.
Cons: The air conditioning in our room struggled in the heat of summer. A fan to create some air movement may have assisted a little.
Location: Uluru camels - fantastic. PHS helicopter over Uluru really good. Desert awakenings really good and learned a lot from the Voyagers tour guide.
We stayed for 4 nights wanting to visit Uluru and experience the area. The hotel was well appointed with great customer service and facilities. I've never been in the Northern Territory (NT) before and while the hotel was showing it's age a little in some areas, and the air-conditioning struggled in our room, I understand it is excellent in comparison to other hotels and the NT. The king size bed was comfy, there was plenty of space in our room and there were all the expected conveniences. Personally not a fan of the shower but otherwise good. Customer service was commendable. Glad we chose the included breakfast as food was expensive (in general in the area). Thankfully there was an IGA supermarket.

Pros: The location, food and the staff.
Cons: Pool needs some repairs. Delivery of food and drinks in the lobby bar.
Location: Helicopter ride was amazing. Field of lights was a very moving experience.
Great support from staff for our different requirements. Food was of a high standard. Room size was great. Pool is good but needs a refurbishment. Plus in the bar area (near the lobby) delivery (time) of food and drinks need to improve.

Pros: -Friendly staff -Clean
Cons: The tv in our room was rather small and the remote was temperamental.
Stayed for 4 nights, room was nice and clean. The staff were all very cheerful and helpful. Our 2 year old was with us and they remembered him each day, the girls in the restaurant would chat with him and make him laugh which was lovely. We enjoyed our short holiday and would be happy to recommend to friends.

Run down 4star with 3 star service

Used to be good value though expensive side, but found while prices even went up, the service went down substantively. Took long time whatever you order, often not delivered, while the attitude of staff is ever worse. Would rather recommend cheaper option with lower expectation. 3 star hotel with 5 star price. Only possible because it is at Ayers Rock, where there is no free competition. Shame.

Good hotel for where it is.

Location: All the hotels are in the same resort near the national park. The town square is also right next to the hotel. So you can't go wrong location wise.
Generally it was ok. However the cleaning staff clean rooms anywhere up to 5pm. We came back after a big day out and our room had not been done. A staff member came to clean about 4pm and he couldn't speak a word of English so could not understand when I asked just for clean towels and nothing else to be done as we just wanted to rest. Whist it is the highest star rated hotel in the resort, be prepared that it may not live up to your expectation of the star level. I think the rating was given compared to the others in the area.
