Nice Hotel By THe Rock!

Posted Jun 25, 2017
Pros: Mattress. Attractive grounds, comfortable pool chairs and pool bar. Gift shop/artwork nicely displayed. Tour pick ups, shuttles easily available.
Cons: Sails Restaurant service staff were not attentive, did no know what mustard was. Had no problems at The Desert Gardens Restaurant.
Location: SEIT tours were small groups, intimate and expertly guided. Ayers Rock Basewalk left us awestruck, learned creation lore.
King size bed, pillows and mattress extremely comfortable. Bathrobes, slippers, balcony, pool a plus.

Rooms structure was very ugly. Concrete with room doors that made it look like a prison. The pool & restaurant/shop building was nice. Restaurant staff didn't seem too knowledgeable about wine. Asked twice to confirm our wine order & then brought champagne glasses with out red wine.
