Fabulous location in the city of Bogota!

Pros: Staff willingness to help with taxis; tours; restaurants, etc. Very clean. Terrific location! Very safe.
Cons: Just fix the nighttime noise on the 12th floor...that's all.
Location: Shopping Mall. Super market. Colombian restaurants. Colombian shopping malls. Very safe location.
We stayed for 9 days at the NH Collection Hotel in Bogota. The location was perfect for two seniors and a daughter wanting to explore the culture of Colombia. The staff was so helpful and most were English speaking which in our case was a god-send as we speak very little Spanish. Right outside the door we had reasonably priced Taxis; wonderful shopping malls; ethnic restaurants and best of all a weekend arts and craft market that went on block after block. The only reason I cannot give the hotel a five-star rating is due to a mechanical vibration/noise that ran off and on all night long, every night, every 20 seconds. The staff appeared to try and fix it but apparently could not. This was on the 12th floor. Other than the nighttime noise the NH Collection was super!

Great Bogota Location

Pros: The staff
Cons: The elevator doors close fast and hard.
Location: Very convenient location for getting around the city
Very nice hotel. Great rooms, very good food, and extremely good service.

Good hotel lousy shuttle service

Cons: You should call your attention to the hotel's Guest Relations Manager.
Location: I liked the neighborhood. Good restaurants
The shuttle service from the hotel is very expensive. Also the taxi drivers have no ideas of directions. When I complained about a bad service, the hotel staff instead of punishing the taxi driver, defended it and pretended to be right. Lamentable complicity of hotel staff

Ok hotel

I would rate this hotel as 3-4 stars. Rooms are somewhat outdated. Had a mild odor. Bathroom is tiny. Had a tub which no one uses anymore. Breakfast is very good, but room service is mediocre. There are better hotels in bogota for the price (estelar and san medina). Will not repeat.

It is a very nice hotel. My problem with it was that I didn't have a good heater and the weather was freezing.
