To many extra fees

The lobby was dark, I thought they lost power. My free drink was made with cheap alcohol. No pictures on the wall in the room and the bar scene was weird. Even with a do not disturb sign on my door, someone came in a removed two towels. Also the resort fee and parking fee, I felt like I got robbed by the hotel. Last time I stay in tbis hotel.

Average, but should be better for the price

For the price, I feel it’s room standards should be higher. Chairs in room had very stained upholstery. Wallpaper starting to peel in places. Leaking bathroom faucet. Also the this area of town is a bit sketchy. Staff are great, as is their bar and food.

Good for quick overnight in SF

An obviously older hotel with attempts at modernizing it. Decor was so so. Room was on the small side. No coffee pot :/ Bed was pretty comfy. They force you to pay their "resort fee" even though there is no resort, no pool and we didnt use the gym :\

I decided last minute to stay at the Clift Hotel and was greeted with a very warm welcome. Our standard room was upgraded to a studio room. Unfortunately the room didn’t match the expectations we had after entering the hotel. The bathroom wasn’t very pleasant and many parts of the room were outdated.

Last night in California

Pros: location
Cons: Bathrooms could use an upgrade.
Location: Went to dinner around the corner at the irish house which we enjoyed.
We had a great experience with this hotel. Very comfortable, great location. We would return. It would have been nice to have ice machines on the floor but we ordered it from room service. Thank you.

Pros: We loved everything!
Cons: Free water!!!
Location: Everything is near by from the minute you step out of your hotel.
Wonderful hotel to stay! Rooms are clean & chic.

Disappointing at best

People in the next room made noise all night. Room service had 2 service charges. $$$! Would not stay again!

Spring 2018 @ Cliff SF

Great staff, excellent location for getting around the center city. Chic hotel with a very good desk staff and concierge, housekeeping accommodates any need with smile and confidence. Very nice to spend spring break here.
