Disappointing hotel but perfect location

Pros: The location and shuttle service to the parks.
Cons: A total revamp and this would be the perfect hotel to stay at in Orlando
Location: The location is perfect. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, TGI, Chillis, The ponderosa, ihop and plenty more, all within walking distance.
This hotel is in the perfect location, just off international drive with a lot of restaurants and activities within walking distance. The hotel is in need for a complete revamp. The carpets look like they’re 20 years old and never been cleaned. The carpet in our room felt sticky and dirty, we didn’t dare walk on it on our bare feet. The bath tap wouldn’t turn off, there was a constant slow stream of hot water from it so we had to keep the door shut to be able to sleep but then when you went into the bathroom it was like a sauna due to the dripping water being roasting. We reported it to reception twice but nothing was done about it. Breakfast is served in the reception and is like a cattle market with very limited choice in a supposedly continental breakfast eg. When it mentions a variety of fresh fruit it really means red apples in a fruit bowl. I think we were the only British people in the hotel, everyone else was Spanish/ Portuguese including the staff. I was expecting it all to be very American but when I first walked in I thought I was somewhere in Spain. There are lots of hotels in the area, when I return to orland I would stay in one of the other hotels in this area as I said at the start, this area is perfect for getting about. The hotel also offers a shuttle bus service from the front door to the Disney and universal parks. We used this shuttle to go to universal and it was great. The hotel is a 10 min drive to universal.

Moldy room

When I arrived our first room had mold all over the ceiling and the window was leaking when it rained. My girlfriend could not stop coughing and is now sick. They gave us a new room and this one also smelled of mold and the ceiling had water damage. Horrible hotel do not recommend to anyone.

Ok for a night

The hotel hallways had no AC. They were hot, humid and dirty looking. The room was clean.

Hotel OK. But, they need to make a few updates as soon as possible. Liking tub and air conditioning too noisy.

It Was Really Poor.

The Water Taps Were Dirty So It Was Leaking, The Whole Room Itself Was Pretty Dirty, The Room Stinked And We Had To Change Rooms Because Of The Smell. However, The Next Room Had The Same Smell But It Was Stronger. I Don't Think My Family Will Be Coming Back Again.

The carpets in the hallway of the third floor were horrifyingly filthy and staind. The room itself was decent though. It was close enough to walk to quite a few attractions yet, tucked away enough to not be in the middle of a busy section of town.
