Beautiful Stay

Posted Jan 18, 2018
This stay was an awesome experience from the moment we stepped out of car. I looked ahead so knew it was valet parking only so that was not a surprise. For $20, it was totally worth it. The room was very clean and very modern. The bed was amazing! Would stay there again. Wish we could have enjoyed longer but was there for a medical visit at Cleveland Clinic. Very close to hospital. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Nowhere to park.

Pros: Location
Cons: No comment

I was not told ahead of time when I booked the room that there was only valet parking that cost me $20.00 a day plus tips.Expedia got my middle and last name turned around and I spent 1-1/2 hrs.on the phone to resolve the matter with expedia and the hotel, and I was the one that figured out what the problem was.The last night of my stay the power to the hotel went out for 5 or 6 hours and it was about 5 degrees outside.I think that I deserve a partial refund or my next stay be comped for all the trouble.I have a sick wife that had to go to the Cleveland Clinic, that is why we were and are going to have to call back.I will be call Marriott corporate to take care of this matter.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for your recent visit to our hotel. We were sorry to read that your stay was overshadowed by the power outage that took place. Extended power outages in our area are extremely rare outside of a significant weather event. Any power disturbance is certainly an unfortunate inconvenience to our guests, especially one that lasts several hours. We apologize that this extended outage impacted your stay. Also, our parking information is on the website for all guests. Again, we apologize for this inconvenience and hope you will come back for another stay. We would love the opportunity to provide you with the hospitality that you should have experienced this time. Laura Chmielewski General Manager

Great hotel. No parking

Vallet parking only $20 bucks kinda sucks. I hate people driving my car so we did on street parking for free. Other than that everything about hotel is great

Pros: The drivers of the courtesy van were particularly great--friendly, eager to help, quick to pick us up and drop us off.
Clean, quiet, modern room, close to museums and hospitals (Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals) and Case Western Reserve University. Some good casual restaurants in close walking distance.

University Circle hotel

Posted Nov 7, 2017
Pros: Close location to CWRU
Cons: Housekeeping could be improved.
Location: Near CWRU and Little Italy.
Room was clean upon arrival, but there was no housekeeping service from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening. Front desk staff could have done better upon greeting.

I had a great experience here. The room was large and comfortable, and it was also very clean. The staff were very friendly. There is a free shuttle that takes you within a two mile radius.

Walking Distance to Case Western Reserve

Posted Oct 7, 2017
Pros: Room was updated
Cons: Price of food
Location: Walking distance to Case Western Reserve
Booked 1 night to attend Case Western Reserve's open house. 10-minute walk to campus. Very nice room at a decent cost. Nice, comfortable queen-sized beds. Ample space for 4 adults. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK but VERY expensive. Breakfast for 4 = $70. Mine was 1 egg over easy, 2 pieces of toast, 3 strips of bacon and a handful of potatoes. For $70 I could have fed the family all 3 meals at a fast food restaurant.
