“Air conditioning was not working. But luckily it cooled down enough at night to make it bearable. The room and the balcony were great as was the staff. ”

“The front desk staff were fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about them. The bar/in hotel restaurant however might have been the worst service I’ve ever had. It took over 20 minutes to get a simple drink, and another 40 minutes to get our food, which was wrong/not what we ordered. The server was very polite (I don’t recall her name), but the wait times and lack of attention to detail was abysmal. The hotel and stay were wonderful, but I would never eat or get a drink there if I come back”

“Delightful to stay in a mansion turned into an bed and breakfast right in the middle of downtown Detroit.”

“The bedding was very visibly not washed. We ended up sleeping on the sheets with no blankets or anything due to blood stains and stains on the top sheet and blankets.”

“Beautiful property but there wasn’t extra toilet paper and Kleenex in the room and the bathroom shelf wasn’t secure. It was also pretty warm and we didn’t have individual control of our room temp. A mini fridge would have gone a long way. There was also no tea in the lobby. I would stay there again in the spring or fall. ”

“The staff at the front desk were super nice and helpful. The room definitely could have been cleaner. The couch was dirty, the floor looked clean (well swept) but was actually filthy, as the floors that turn my new pink wool socks black on the bottoms. Stains on the towels and bathroom shower curtain but you get what you pay for. This was by far the cheapest hotel downtown during our stay so I suppose I would stay there again. As a bonus the unhoused people outside the hotel were kind and……

“The place was clean and roomy, didn’t have a twin bed but they did have an extra sofa that an adult size person could sleep on. ”

“The room was very clean. The hotel space in general seemed very clean However, the room had some weird random things- the faucet in the bathroom was loose and just kinda flopping around. The toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. And after REALLY looking at the bathroom I noticed the trim was painted EXTREMELY messily While NONE of this was an issue with the stay - I guess I just expect more for the amount that’s paid for the room.
