We were very kindly greeted and everything was well explained to us. Great place with European vibe. Well maintained and renovated washrooms. Shower is wonderful with loads of hot water. Breakfast is plentiful. The common room is well equiped with tea, coffee, biscuits and books and games.

Charming small hotel with unsurpassed service

Posted Sep 15, 2017
We arrived late but all was prepared for us ahead. The bed comfy and the room well appointed. Breakfast delicious. Jo, the owner, took great care of our group of eight. After three nights we were still congratulating ourselves for finding such a perfect spot in the old city.

A nice, personal stay

Posted Sep 6, 2017
The staff are super friendly and the hotel gives you the vibe of living in your own studio and less like you are in hotel. The breakfast was good and the rooftop terrace had lovely views of the city. The room that we were in was big and had lots of natural light. I like that you are made to remove your shoes outside the rooms to keep the integrity of the wooden floors. Cleanliness was stellar. This hotel is not wheelchair/mobility device friendly at all. There are no elevators and the stairs are narrow, steep and do wind at points (which could also be troublesome for some elderly customers who have to lift large suitcases).

Great little hotel!

Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, wonderful small hotel. In American terms - this is more like a B&B than a hotel. That's what we liked about it. If you are looking for a huge lobby area or big rooms with big bathrooms, this is not it. If you are looking for a charming, cozy place with a great character and location - this is it! The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful with information about the city sights. We got some great tips from them. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay

Posted Jul 21, 2017 on Hotels
Lovely B&B with a Shabby Chic feel, comfortable, clean and relaxing, fantastic hosts especially William who gave us a very warm welcome, the breakfast was also good, just far enough away from the crowds, but an easy 15mins walk to the centre, there are also bars and restaurants nearby, be aware there isn't a lift but they are very accommodating if you need your luggage carrying upstairs. Great value for money. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent hotel, very close to Old Quebec City...

Posted Jul 14, 2017
Hotel was excellent, great proximity to the sights. Many restaurants nearby. Parking was a bit of an adventure, parking garage was a couple of blocks away. Breakfast was great, the room was clean and comfortable. I was very impressed, and would recommend to anyone! P.S. Not for people with mobility issues, stairs and narrow hallways, etc.

Lovely hotel in an ideal location.

A lovely hotel in a great location very close to the old walled city where the breakfast is excellent, the rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff in the hotel are very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely stay in this hotel again the next time we visit Quebec city.

Friendly hotel that cost a little too much

Posted May 20, 2017
Pros: Staffs
Cons: As mentioned above (price needs to be adjusted)
Location: Location is good for dining but for sightseeing you need a car
Staffs were kind and spoke good English. Home style breakfast was really good. All the human factors were pleasant. However, for its excessive price parking was a way too inconvenient, and room should be refurnished for example, beds need to be replaced, and window should have protection screens for they are so dangerous. It would be an excellent choice if it were half its current price.

Hi Stanley, just for information we are exaltely in the center in the main street,so you don't need a car for nothing.. We just changed 2 years ago our old windows for new windows triple glazing, absolutely not dangerous et installed everywhere at Québec. I sorry but I really don't understand your review
