Best staff

The staff was amazing! Every single person we encountered was extremely helpful and kind. The hotel itself seemed older. The bathroom needed some updating with the shower head but spotless. Would definitely stay again.

Be sure to get one of the special massages. They are awesome. The relaxation room is wonderful. The swimming pool is salt water and very refreshing. Go back and forth between the pool and the hot tub. The fire pits at night are great. You can take you own wine and enjoy the beauty of the area. After the sun goes down, the warmth of the fire is soothing. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. The shuttle to the top of the hill or to close attractions is very convenient. You can stop reading now. I don't have anything else to add but the note says add a bit more to your review. Sedona is beautiful. I had never been there before. Given the altitude is important to keep hydrated. Be sure to drink lots of water. Take some deep breaths often and slow down. It is important to conserve energy when you are at that altitude. Have a great stay in Sedona. Enjoy the scenery. I hope this ends soon as I can't think of more to go on about at this point.

Great boutique spa hotel in Sedona

Pros: The staff, the outdoor spaces, the restaurant
Cons: More counter space in the bathrooms please.
Location: Great location, central for lots of restaurants and shops, and easy driving access to great hikes and outdoors areas.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Kempton. We were there over Christmas and were primarily looking to do some light hiking, enjoy the scenery and connect as a family (me, my husband and our teenage son). The hotel was perfect for that, centrally located, with great views and easy access to loads of local shops and restaurants. The room was comfortable, clean and relaxing. The only complaint I would have is that the bathroom counter space was not really adequate for 3 people. But that is a minor complaint really. The hotel has some great public spaces, both indoors and out. The outdoor spaces offer lovely views, comfortable lounge chairs around firepits and lots of blankets. The hot tub was great, but sadly the swimming pool heater was broken so it was freezing cold and not suitable to swim in. However both pool and hot tub have lovely views. This is a very dog friendly hotel, so there were several canine guests, all of whom were exceptionally well behaved. The hotel goes out of its way to make dogs welcome, but it didn't feel like this was all about the dogs, it felt more like a luxurious hotel where there happened to be some dogs as well. One of the best things about the hotel was the staff - they were all fantastic. They really went out of their way to help and to make guests welcome. Our hire car got hit by some logs on the highway and the front bumper had to be adjusted, but the hotel staff rallied to help us out to get the bumper sorted out.

Pros: Lovely view of the stream and trees from my room. Loved the view and quietness of the room. Loved the pool and views.
Cons: Long unattractive walk through 3 halls-Make it prettier? Carpets were smelly-did you have a water leak?
Location: Loved the location.

The staff was very accommodating and professional . The valet staff was very nice.What more can I say. Good people. Room was clean. We got a free upgrade upon check in. The view was great, we got to walk along side the creek. The pool is heated and they have handicappable lure into the water. It’s fun even if you’re not hadicappable: There is a free shuttle service in a one mile radius. You can go down to the Hudson and get trashed. Love it. Yolo.

Nice hotel conveniently located, pet friendly

Pros: The staff at the reception, the restaurant ,guest services was extremely competent, welcoming and helpful .
We spent a night to celebrate my husband's 70 th birthday . Had a pleasant happy hour in the heated patio then Dinner which was good with a nice selection of dishes We were impressed by the friendliness of the service at checking in , at dinner .and all through our stay .I would definitely recommend this hotel and come back next time I was in Sedona

The setting and views are beautiful. The restaurant and service is very good. The front desk and concierge staff are nice and helpful. The room was nice and clean but the bathroom was extremely dated and dirty. Leftover soap scum all around the counter that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Housekeeping staff left the room in sub par conditions. Didn’t take away any dirty glasses and didn’t make the bed very well. They also left shards of toilet paper on the bathroom floor.

Great stay, great staff and great amenities!

I would recommend this place if you are looking for a great stay and really great amenities. Their pool, hot tub, and Lounge sitting areas were really amazing! We definitely would have enjoyed a complimentary breakfast with a hotel of this quality. Since you are paying for every meal it would be nice to at least have a free breakfast. The staff was very helpful with figuring out where to hike and what to do. I wouldn't pay for one of these super expensive rooms, I would just get the cheaper room and enjoy the view on the patio. The valet was also great! They should also trim down the trees a little bit so you can enjoy the view a little better.

The restaurant and bar close very early at this facility. Lots of people about and staff closed the bar at 10pm
