Nice, clean and quiet.

Nice room with kitchenette, plates, glasses, flatware. Fridge, microwave, coffeemaker and dishwasher also. Will definitely stay again when in Des Moines.

Great staff!

Pros: The staff and cleanliness of the rooms.
We were very impressed with the staff. Our flight was late and the staff had everything ready so check in took only a moment (arrived at 3:30am). The breakfast staff was always positive, efficient, and professional. The rooms were clean and exceptionally quiet for a hotel. Great community, convenient, and well maintained.

Plumbing issues

Found no hot water in shower or at the lavatory. Desk offered to call maintenance person, but after no arrival, I went to the desk and requested a different room. The second room had hot water in the shower but the water pressure in the lavatory was only a drizzle. I remained for two nights. The other accommodations were good.

Too many kids running around.

There were some tournaments in tow and there were kids running around the hallways and up and down the stairs all day and night with no supervision. This was annoying and should not be allowed. Breakfast was meh. It was okay if you needed a banana and yogurt on the run or a bowl of oatmeal. I certainly wouldn't select this hotel based on the fact they include a complementary breakfast.

Disappointed

Very crowded, especially in breakfast area--although they did provide an overflow room and a guy was making eggs to order. We stayed two nights, and no one freshened up the room the first day. There was a strange cleaning smell that seemed to be masking something unpleasant. Couldn't figure it out. Suite was bigger than some, but for $150 a night, guess we expected better. Crossed off our list for next time we're in Des Moines.
