Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have only the most basic toiletries. I forgot shaving gel and they couldn't help. Breakfast is adequate but after 10am cannot even buy a coffee.

Ugh, what a nightmare! Air conditioning leaked all the time. Staff ignored DND. Bathroom was disgusting and overall cleanliness was dodgy at best. Internet sucked. Old, dilapidated property in desperate need of renovation.

Great stay in Uruguay
We stayed at the Armon Suites Hotel in MONTEVIDEO, Uruguay for five nights while visiting friends and meeting with different people. The front desk was very friendly/helpful, it was located in a great place with pharmacies, grocery stores, mall, restaurants, coffee shops, park all nearby. We were able to make our breakfast in the room each day as it had a kitchenette. Best stay we've had in Uruguay.

Very cozy place, feels like a home more than a hotel, tidy, clean and fabulous location. Very calm at night which is good for resting. Costumer service was fantastic. I'll be back there any time I'll be around there.

We needed a local place to stay for two nights in Montevideo and the Armon Suites was very near where we had to be. The breakfast was good and they were able to accommodate a gluten free meal request which was a huge plus.

The hotel is a great location. Only 5 short blocks from the ocean. It is surrounded by restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, all within steps. The suites are very comfortable, clean, have a minibar, microwave, a sink and a counter for snacks and drinks. Bathrooms have a jacuzzi bathtub. You have a flat screen with cable in different languages, free WiFi, free breakfast. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have a small heated pool that I used every day for swimming and working out. I enjoyed my stay there immensely. They also help you with pick up and drop off rides to and from the airport.

Great Hotel, Great Team
Front desk staff were professional, welcoming and spoke excellent english. They were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean with a better than average buffet breakfast, the wifi was excellent and the kitchenette was a really nice treat to have. The room and bathroom were both spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I extended my stay and I plan to return to this hotel in the future.

Check in eas fast and easy! I think was not fair extra charge per nice after a reserve a room with three bed! Pool was dirty and the spaghettis have some mold! Absolutely disgusting. Not recomended at all.

Debo de comentarle que se le ha aplicado un cargo, dado que reservaron una habitación Standard y allí un menor de hasta 08 años no tiene cargos si comparte las camas existentes (como esta especificado en la web), en dichas habitaciones cuenta o con una cama matrimonial, o con dos camas separadas. Para contar con una cama para el menor, debe de reservar una habitación Triple. Tomamos en cuenta lo que menciona sobre la pileta y ya mismo hemos sacado de circulación esos artículos de piscina. Estamos seguros que podremos revertir sus impresiones en una futura estadía. Los estaremos esperando.

Booked 3 nights at this hotel. Check in very late and someone was there to welcome me with a smile. The lobby looks very nice. Room was so so. Not bad but nothing to write home about. Average 3 stars. Breakfast was good. Location is good. 7 minutes walk to the water, 10 minutes taxi from Plaza Independencia.

Hotel just what was needed
We were really pleased with our three nights at the Armon Suites in August 2017. The room was spacious and clean, the location excellent and the area reasonably quiet. The bathroom was on the small side but perfectly adequate. It was good we were able to open windows to allow fresh air in. Reception staff were efficient and helpful. The breakfast buffet was everything we could have hoped for - the only complaint was that the egg dishes were always cold. Staff in the dining area were always ready to assist. The waterfront was just 300 metres down the road and a lot of good cafes and other shops on the street.

Convenient hotel in Punta Carretas.

Nice suites not far from the Rambla
A very nice hotel not far from the Rambla. The breakfast is excellent, with many choices, and eggs and toast are made to order. The restaurant (available for lunch) offers very good food. I was particularly fond of the local fish, called brotola. The restaurant (and the breakfast) are certified kosher

Reasonably priced accommodations in Montevideo
There are numerous boutique style hotels in the Pocitos area. The staff was accommodating and check-in/check-out was seamless. The rooms are enormous, and the tariff is fair. Breakfast was more than ample, fresh and with a friendly atmosphere. Its one of the better choices in the area.

Great time in Montevideo!
We had a great time in Montevideo. The hotel was clean, breakfast was nice, the cleaning crew took good care of our room, and we enjoyed everything overall. The staff especially was excellent - helping with travel advice, suggestions, calling taxis, and so on. We would definitely recommend.

Serve mold in our first room facing the main street. Second room was much better facing back. Staff was helpful and attentive. Food was ok, and service was good. Location was very good. Next to everything you would need or want. The Mall was so easy to get to, within walking distance. Plenty of shops and places to eat. Short walk to the ocean.

Nice Hotel, very well located
The room was Excellent, located on the 5th floor. Very spacious, with a complete kitchenette. All the staff is very friendly with a "can do attitude" what makes you feel at home. The Hotel is located in one of the best neighborhoods of Montevideo. You can find around plenty of places where to eat, trendy restaurants, pizza places or just McDonald's. The beach is just three blocks distance.

Clean. Good service. Small room but great breakfast. A few blocks but easy walk to the Rambla. Not an upscale neighborhood but felt safe enough and lots of amenities close by - restaurants, pharmacy, McDonalds. :-). We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed here for one day. The staff was extremely helpful in helping us track down our luggage lost by the airline. there are several fast-food type restaurants nearby open late. close to the beach. the room, although a little dated in decor, was large and very clean. the kosher breakfast included with our stay was good.

Great option to stay in Montevideo. Although I arrived early I was kindly offered a room and breakfast. Service is very good. Hotel room is really comfortable. Internet is fast. The pool/work out area is a little abandoned, but still clean and warm. I highly recommend Armon Suites Hotel.

great location. walking distance to punta carretas mall, pocitos beach. catch a bus to anywhere. supermarket 2 blocks away. lots of bars and restaurants. upscale section of town. everybody working there was super from the maids to the waitresses to the front desk. not a lot of english but gave me a chance to practice my spanish and it is uruguay. paid an extra 5 bucks for a superior suite.. 10th floor facing quiet courtyard type area. good AC big flatscreen..32?.. with good cable. jetted tub. small kitchen with fridge and microwave and sink... small pool with sauna and gym.... very safe at night

We stayed for four nights In a superior room. Good size, very clean. The king bed was somewhat flimsy, when one person moved the whole bed moved. However overall the room was fine. Breakfast was average in terms of quality. Breakfast room was crowded and staff not highly organized but this is not a deal breaker. We're on vacation and go with the flow. Loved the neighborhood. Several good nearby restaurants and enjoyed walks to the beach. Would not hesitate to stay here again. While in the area we checked out several other hotels and this was the best value for this quality hotel that we found. Should note it is very easy to get to downtown mvd. The bus runs along the same street as hotel. It costs 20 pesos and takes 15 minutes. Alternatively a cab ride is about 100 pesos.

Very good and well located
Rooms are spacious and clean. Complimentary Wi-Fi access in hotel room was good. Friendly and helpful staff. I called front desk to book a cab to the bus terminal but they forgot to make the reservation. However, the situation was promptly resolved during check-out
